Most of your bench spots are now taken up by players that hardly play. It makes no sense to use that pick unless it's on a player that's staying in Europe or you plan to use a current player and the pick to get a higher pick thAt can possibly be a starter or a 6 man type of player.
I'm sorry but I don't understand. Some of the players didn't play as much this year will play more next year like Jacob, Powell, Siakam and Delon. That will leave 905 spots available.
RaptorsNorth is talking out of his ass here. We already trade multiple picks away. Masai will keep one because he likes the draft. Not sure how someone could not notice that.
when will some people learn that drafting a player and putting him on the 905 still counts as a raptors Roster spot. Fred, pascal and bruno played on the 905 but they're signed to the raptors and count as roster spots on the raptors man. We don't own the rights to the rest of the players on the 905. Any NBA team can sign any of them at anytime. The NBA is not like the NHL were you draft players and put them on your farm team, keep their rights and that player don't count as a roster spot on the big club. In the NBA if you draft a player, sign that player, then place that player on your farm team, that player still counts as roster spot on the NBA team. dude you have to be hitting something stronger than weed if you think the raptors are going Anywhere with a bench full of players that are basically still rookies. Yea players like bruno and bebe might have been in the league for 2 -3 seasons but they hardly have any games under their belts. Also masai talked about wanting more shooters and you think he's talking about the young guys on the bench that hardly have a jump shot right now ? Other norm who on the bench has a shoot ? Bebe ? Pascal ? Jakob ? Delon ? Get real bro and stop quoting me with nonsense. I mean when you look at the good teams in this league you'll see that none of them have has much young inexperience players eating up roster spots and hardly playing. Rookies like Patrick McCaw played more games than some of our younger players combine and he's playing on warriors. Not Boston, not the wizards, not the cavs, not golden state, and not the spurs. None of those teams have as much inexperience young players sitting on their bench all season and not playing any real NBA minutes. The only way we keep this pick is if we're looking to move a player like bebe in a package deal. You can't be serious if you think we're going to compete with top teams by going into next season with a bunch inexperience players playing big roles hahahahah come on bro. This guy wants to tie up 8 roster spots into players that hardy played last season and a #23 pick.. If you're doing that then you might as well just blow it up. You're basically just gaving patterson or Tucker's spot to a inexperience young player and yet you expect to compete next season lol ok. What team in the f..... League is competing with 8 young players making up most of their bench squad ? 7 young players that hardly play in the league and a f..... #23 pick making up your bench And you expect to compete next season ? Let's get real here man. I mean it's just f..... common sense after we've heard what masai and casey said their plans are for next season. I'm starting to weed out these nonsense quotes from now on. If your response to my post makes no sense then I'm ignoring that sh.. No disrespect but sometimes I really have to do this after reading some of these responses.
