My concern with him, looking solely at the scouting reports, he doesn't seem to be improving like you would be expecting for a 20 year old (still really young, but that is where you want to see more development)...It's the same concern I have with Rabb. If Kobi went back to school, I feel like you'd find more holes than we already know about.

Oh his bust potential is certainly pretty sky high. He's got a lot of Tony Wroten written all over him. But with the 48th pick in the draft? I can easily take that chance on a 6'4, athletic PG who I pray can find his jumpshot in the D-league.

Yeah, I'd rather just use the pick on Frank Mason if he is there. Less upside, sure, but I think he will have a pretty good career.

Do we know how that works? Do we have to sign two guys to two way contracts and then a bunch of other guys to fill out the roster, or do we partner with a couple of teams to build out the roster?

We'll likely sign two guys to two way contracts, three guys to camp deals (which will give our D-League team exclusive D-League rights, but they could still sign with another NBA team, kind of like a NFL practice squad deal), and then there will be the D-League draft, then maybe tryouts.

Peter Jok is my favourite ... what a sleeper, Khris Middleton all over him. I would sign him undrafted a rookie deal and I would give him 15 -17th roster spot what a steal.

If no interesting PG is left at #48 I would even draft Jok with my 2nd round pick

This discussion deserves its own thread

Not a great time to be without your actual GM. Hopefully they are up to something

Another UDFA I'd like us to sign is is Bronson Koenig, I'm not much of a UW fan so don't call me a homer either, but the dude can straight up shoot and is great under pressure. I think he'd be a great 3rd string PG and he's an especially great fit on a team with Giannis on it.

I thought he was going to become a very good player but never quite take that big jump I was hoping for the last two years.

His jumps between SO and JR and JR and SR years were both pretty damn impressive.

Would you elaborate on what jumps you saw from the Jr to Sr year? I saw a guy doing your pretty typical progression that you see with most 4 year players and increased usage against their competition. Maybe I am being unfair because I expected more?

Maybe Donoval Mitchell will be there too.

Khris for Tobias + Baynes #12

Not saying I would do it. But this is probably what it would take to get #12

That's not enough. I'd ask for them to take Henson and give Stanley Johnson instead of Baynes and a 2019 top 10 protected 1st.

I'm asking for the moon if I'm trading Khris and only moving up to the 12th spot, where theoretically, the draft drops off just before that selection. #12, Stanley Johnson, future pick unprotected or lightly protected is a start.

No, wait, you got it wrong. They trade Tobias to give Stanley Johnson playing time. Take out Johnson and Henson, 2019 pick looks good too.
