Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Hey Josh, maybe you should just have someone film you and edit out the misses like everyone else does.
If this guy shoots better from three than Tatum in the league, a minor miracle occurred. When he misses, he misses BADLY.

He doesn't have a good follow through. He needs to keep his arm extended a little longer. But I love that he didn't edit it out. I like how he doesn't give a f*ck and just put it out there. No editing trying to fool the public lol. At least he shot 3s on camera.

Yea, I mean, giving us raw footage of him shooting is pretty neat and ballsy. However, while admirable, I don't see it helping his perception as it pertains to his shooting.

But wouldn't you rather have more information instead of edited info? Would you rather be fooled with clips of only the makes and people saying WOW look at his shot. He can shoot. Or would you rather be given the real directly from Josh Jackson who isn't afraid to shoot in front of a camera unlike a certain Sixer?

May be the case. But I remember Rose being one of the 1st National guys to identify Joel Embiid as the no doubt #1 pick, when the websites and forums were still on the "Wiggins is the greatest prospect in a decade" nonsense. He's generally been ahead of the curve on these prospects for a talking head.

I also don't know why guys must be able to shoot year one in order for the pick to be worth it. If he takes 2-3 years to be competent in his jumper than so be it as long as he's bringing other things to the table it's more than worth the wait.
The video encouraged me more than anything else.

Really? That encouraged you? He's shooting unguarded shots and airballed one of them. The other misses were front of the rim or off to the sides. If you watch good shooters miss on open jumpers, they are barely off. That's because they have replicable jump shot and not a stroke, like Ball and Jackson have.
Also, I'm sure GMs are not basing their decisions off of edited clips, but there is a reason that Simmons, Jackson, Ball, Fultz, etc didn't go to the Combine. They'd rather let their tapes speak for itself rather than add more information that could potentially hurt them at the Combine on a very public stage. If Jackson blows the workout against the Lakers but drains every shot at the Sixers workout, the Sixers might be none the wiser about how Jackson performed behind close doors.
I mean, there's so much of his game to like, but his shooting is not one of them.

Who thinks he's a good shooter? I don't. The fact that he practices his shot and isn't afraid to shoot for cameras or in private let's me know that he knows it's something he needs to work on and it encourages me. Instead of a guy like Simmons who hides his jumper and gives you neat responses like I averaged 20 points a game when asked about it. Look you obviously care more about this footage than I do. I can care less how guys perform in an open gym. Would it have been cool if he cropped up and edited out 15-18 straights shots made? Yeah but ultimately do I care? Do I let it effect how I view him as a prospect? Not at all.

You are right. But that is why so much money was spent on sports science and building that new training facility. It was not all for chits and giggles right? If Jackson is the pick, then it's time for these sports science eggheads to earn their money and develop both Josh and Ben into capable shooters.
