The Lakers are smart!!

The Lakers do not have enough assets right now and have a heavy salary structure with Deng/Moz. They have to work this and every opportunity to add assets. With this report out, I think other teams that had the Lakers penciled as selecting Ball will have to revise and see what is needed. The teams that wanted Fox, Jackson, Tatum and even Monk, Isaac, DSJ, Markkanen might have to trade up. This and the news of Clarkson opens up opportunities for trades. In the end, if there is nothing and Ball is the best player available, we will select him as he is the most logical fit.

Go Magic, Pelinka and West!!

7'2" 21 year old and top 5 rated international player. He is projected as a late first rounder but his value might have went up 5 picks now. He has a developing 3 point range too...

Well Ramona did say a couple of weeks ago that it was 50/50 and she has legit inside sources. So yeah not a sure thing he goes to the Lakers. Problem is I'm not sure I want to take a chance on Jackson or Fox. Fox does not fit with Russell at all who is a much better playmaker and shooter.

Possible that the decision not to workout against Fox might have upset the front office.

Fox is probably also going to kill it in the interviews compared to the others.

I can't imagine magic and Rob really thought that Lonzo and his agent would have actually allowed him to work out against another prospect. It just doesn't happen --- especially that high in the draft. Most of the times teams are lucky to even get them to do a physical workout instead of just an interview. (Remember how

With that said. I'm hoping they're looking at Jackson. I've said this before but having Ingram and Jackson on the wings should solidify our sf/sg positions for the next 15 years. That could be an elite pairing in my opinion. Might not even need Paul George next year if we go this route. Unless we try Brandon at the four.

I think Dennis Smith Jr is the best pg in the draft, and Jackson is the best wing player in the draft.5 Fox can be a good player but he has too much of rondo/elfrid Payton in him imo.

At least workout Josh Jackson. I'd take him over Fox anyday.

According to Schultz multiple lottery teams think Fox is better than Fultz or Ball. If that is even remotely true, i can't remember the last time a players stock went so high based on one game.

I doubt that if they passed over Lonzo it would be for Jackson. Mainly because he plays the same position as Ingram and George. Ingram being the so called untouchable. None of those guys should be playing the 2. Also there's been reports ever since the lottery that the Lakers love Fox.

I'll also make a guarantee regarding Fox: The front office that drafts him will be fired within 12 months time.

Lakers management shouldn't outsmart themselves with this pick and I do not think they will.

This is a bit much. Here's where he's slated on various sites:

Draftexpress 5th
Draftnet: 4th
Bleacher Report: 4th

Where would you take him?
