Must have never heard of Cherokee Parks, Samaritan Walker, Loren Meyer, or Chris Anstey.
Moderators: Dirk, HMFFL, Mavrelous

1. Frank Ntilikina
2. Laurei Markkanen (who Dirk doesn't think highly of) / Zach Collins

I don't think he'd be the worst.. I just don't want him paired with Noel. Seems redundant and doesn't fix anything for us short term or long term.

Offensively he has the potential to bring some things Noel never will and there are going to be 20 minutes or more available at center every night starting in 2018-19. And he potentially shoots it well enough to steal some minutes playing he and Noel together.
I want the best basketball players and his potential seems intriguing in that he's both a shot blocker and a potential stretch big.

Right. If he can be a Serga Ibaka type, it could work. I don't love how Ibaka has be limited to a jump shooter but he's a guy that can be your PF/C easily.
I like Frank more than Collins but I take Collins over Lauri.

Who do you guys have above Ntilikina at #9?

Who do you guys have above Ntilikina at #9?
Fultz
Ball
Jackson
Tatum
Fox
Smith
Isaac
Those are the guys I have above Ntilikina. You'll see there are only 7 above him. I would be shocked if Ntilikina makes it past your Knicks at 8.

I think the key here will be the decision between Monk (or whoever slides down among the 7) and Ntilikina.
Although the rumors are that Donovan Mitchell is rising up the draft boards.

Yennefer wrote:We should pick Ntilikina. We need to draft a Future-AllStar and not a future 7th Man...
Ntilikina has the physical requirements to be a great player. With the right workethic and metal state he can develop into an all-star.
Players like Mitchell and Markkannen have a pretty low ceiling. At best you get a mediocre Roleplayer. Whats the best case for Markannen? Ryan Anderson?
