All the Melo cucks.
OMG imagine if Melo played with Kyrie and Love. He'd have rangz.
OMG imagine if Melo played with Steph Klay n Dray. He'd have rangz.

All the cucks do is lament the front office for not getting Melo stars to play with. Fact of the matter is the Knicks haven't had the ability to get anyone, and no one wants to come play with Melo.

If you can't post without insulting people, you won't post at all. Quit it with the "cuck" ****. You get one warning and one warning only.

Did 3intheheadMelo get a warning for calling me a troll with no brain?

Actually, LaMarcus Aldridge wanted to play with Melo, but decided against it because Phil was trying to sell Aldridge on playing center and Aldridge wasn't having it.

Yea well the PF position was already taken by KP.

“They were saying they wanted me to be more of a center to let their guy develop and I just wasn’t looking to be that,” Aldridge said. “So I was looking to play power forward, and they weren’t really interested.”
By ‘their guy,’ Aldridge was referring to fourth overall pick Porzingis, the 7-foot-3, 19-year-old Latvian slotted for time at power forward. Aldridge, who has played power forward for most of his career, would eat up the minutes at that position and perhaps hinder Porzingis’ development.

You think bringing in LMA to take minutes from KP would be a good thing?

If he only wants CLE/LAC, they don't have enough. If he doesn't open that list up he won't get traded. He's not getting waived and paid 60 mil to not play here over two years. That's just crazy.

He'll waive the NTC eventually. He's not going to be the man here any more. He won't get major minutes. The focus will be the system and the kids. It's all over except for the crying.

Worst case he doesn't get traded and opts out. Playing 6th man is not what he wants to do.

Y'all keep saying this

I don't see him getting a huge role in what we're doing. Phil doesn't want him. Phil isn't getting fired apparently. So why stay? Does he want to sit through a rebuild? I doubt it. I don't see him being used like he has been. No reason to. I am not really saying bench him as in glued to the bench but, why run him like we're playing for the playoffs in a rebuild?

I don't see him being here after the deadline. I am not anti Melo. It is just time. If he wants to play a lesser role and ride out the rebuild....cool. I just don't see this lasting long.

He's going to play 30+ minutes if he's here. Cant just bench him, too much backlash unless Melo is being a a real distraction on his own merit and not what Phil continues to do in the media.

As for the highlighted part, again yall keep saying this. Melo's going to do two things on the basketball regardless of his role. 1. Shoot 2. Shoot again.

So if he's here trust all these hopes of him coming off the bench, only shooting 12 times and not being allowed to anymore after that and all this nonsense is not happening.

Come on dude, LMA and KP would have just been interchangeable at the 4 and 5 dependent on the matchup. More often than not, KP would have played center. KP ended up showing that he could play more center than some people expected.

Even if Phil said he could play pf, we were coming off 17 wins, and Melo's surgery. He might have considered us a bit more, he was never really picking the Knicks over the Spurs, especially as a native Texan.

CP3 is a free agent. Why doesn't he want to join Melo here?
Lebron was a free agent. Why didn't he want to join Melo here?
Let me guess. It's all Phil's fault.

Phil wanting LMA to play center was the reason LMA didn't bother having a meeting with us. There was no indication that he had real interest much less that he would have chosen the Knicks over the Spurs (come on...)

I would definitely put the onus on Phil and not Melo. Why would any star player playing on a playoff team leave to join the Knicks? Melo is the reason LMA even considered the Knicks. Seeing the emphasis on the triangle and how outspoken Phil is, especially about his star player, has to be the biggest negative for star free agents.

Lebron has been critical of Phil as well as has been criticized by Phil. This does not make the Knicks more attractive to come and play here. Besides, we have sucked since Phil took over. Phil gutted the team of its playoff talent and filled it with D league level players. Who shoulders more blame here, Melo or Phil?
JUST PLAY THE KIDS ALREADY!!!!!

You guys think there is any chance (at all) that Melo would accept a trade to the Jazz?

He's at his best flanked by a rangy rim protector and a capable perimeter defender. He's a natural fit between Gobert and Hayward. But I know you guys want draft picks, that's where the Hornets come in.

You trade Carmelo
You get 11, Burks, and Joe Johnson

Utah trades Favors, Burks, Johnson, and 24
Utah gets Carmelo and Plumlee

Charlotte trades Plumlee and 11
Charlotte gets Favors and 24

If he loves New York like he professes to leaving you with a lottery pick is a pretty good parting gift. Not for PJ or the Knicks, but for the fans.

He loves the lifestyle of NYC and what NYC does for his brand. He's not interested in the franchises quest for another championship anymore. For example, during the season we were tanking for what turned out to be porzingis, Melo, our 125 million dollar player, played with his bum knee in meaningless games like the anthony davis-less pelicans and sixers and dropped 26+ points on those **** teams to give us meaningless wins for the tank just so he could appear in the all star game. Dude cripples our future by messing up the tank and playing on a damaged knee just to lay some bricks in the ASG and shut it down to get surgery afterwards.

He already said he doesnt really care about an NBA championship too.

He's checked out of Knicks/basketball success (aka what fans want). He's just building his brand in NYC now and being a marquee name playing for the most valuable franchise in the league helps him with that

Be happy neither he or Monroe signed here. There is no reason for $25 million doorstops that can't get your team to the finals. Now granted Phil went and signed a $17 million doorstop so in the end we're hosed anyway.

Umm yes. CP3 and LeBron have already spoken out about how Phil and the Knicks have treated Melo and Oakley.

Why are you so damn dedicated to blaming everything on Melo? Why can't you just move on and stop discussing the dude if it's hurting your heart so much?

We had cap space 1 year when we didn't suck.

We got a top 5 FA.

He did cripple the tank. In order to make it into the ASG he statpadded his way against garbo teams like the sixers and davis-less pelicans. those two wins alone wouldve gotten us the worst record had we lost them. He did all this while risking major injury to his knee and shut it down after the ASG.

He stated multiple times that he'd be fine without winning an NBA championships at this point in his career. He's checked out of the basketball success we, as fans, are lookiing for.

Return to New York Knicks
