I'm confused as to who you're referring to here?

Edit: Even weirder, how did those **** get there??

That's weird, those ********s don't show up for me at all.

I was referring to MCW, who must've been talked about a few pages ago, without me realizing that was not the most recent thing in the trade

charlotte forum is haunted. should've known. it's probably the ghost of Steve Scheffler, still upset about being waived.

Let's say the draft falls this way...

If the draft fell like this...

1. Boston Celtics - Markelle Fultz
2. Los Angeles Lakers - Lonzo Ball
3. Philadelphia 76ers - Josh Jackson
4. Phoenix Suns - Jayson Tatum
5. Sacramento Kings - De'Aaron Fox
6. Orlando Magic - Jonathan Isaac

What would the T'Wolves need to give up in addition to the 7th Overall Pick in order to get Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and the 11th Overall Pick in return? Who would Charlotte draft at 7?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Who's going to be our other starting wing in that scenario? Lamb? The Wolves only have Lavine on the roster and he's a bad fit with Batum and Kemba; and he's recovering from a major injury.

I'd definitely consider moving MKG for Tatum, but not when there are no wings on the board worth the cost of trading him.

Is it strictly a wing issue or more-so a MKG issue? If you made it Tyus Jones and Malik Monk (7th) for Nicolas Batum and 11th Overall, does that seem better?

Pretty rough scenario for us. I'd guess Dennis Smith would be our pick, but I kinda doubt we'd be interested in moving MKG if the top SFs are off the board.

Pick #7 is the more valuable piece for sure - so I don't expect you guys to add a major piece on your end - but we're gonna be doing all we can to win sooner than later, and I'm not sure trading our starting 3 to move up for a backup point guard is gonna help us much.

Would a three-team deal where Charlotte gets Maurice Harkless, Tyus Jones and the 20th Overall Draft Pick for MKG make sense (where they also keep the 11th)

I'd say that's less likely, Kemba has gone off since we added Nic.

Oddly enough I recently floated 7 + Jones for 11 + Marvin Williams because I thought a athletic, floor-stretching 3/4 made sense for Minny while we desperately need a backup PG.

Malik Monk and Tyus for 11 and Batum nearly just made me vomit.

Man, that's getting steep... We'd have to find a way to fix the bench. We'd have zero depth behind the starters. We'd be counting on JOB or a dirt cheap free agent to backup Marvin and we'd be counting on Plumlee to play big minutes.

It depends if and what else the Dubs send with him. Youve essentially traded 3 players for one. That drastically impacts our rotation.

I still really want to keep our pick this year, but Klay is someone actually worth trading it for. Id still try for something like Batum + multiple future 1sts. I'm still in the minority that would much rather trade Batum than MKG. I think Kemba/Klay/MKG/Frank or Marv/Cody, would be an excellent lineup.

MIN fan here. i was catching up on Dunc'd on podcasts last night and their CHA off-season predictions. One brief mention was to add Shabazz Muhammad in a sign-and-trade to add some offense. I'm not a big believer in sign-and-trades these days after the CBA justly neutered them, but in general, they could make sense for a team like CHA who is over the cap, but well under the lux - and a team Like MIN who could afford to add the salary. I believe that Shabazz will get more than the MLE.

Unfortunately, though i can see the fit, I didn't really see anything that made sense for both teams. For CHA, the free agent contract Bazz accepts will have to be something they would be willing to pay cap space for, so only slightly positive value. Meanwhile, a sign-and-trade eats MIN's cap, so they need to get back someone better than whoever they might get with their cap space - an estimated $33 mil if they don't do a S&T.

Would Bazz help your team? What about Dieng? He's sneaky good defensively, always improving, and locked into a decent contract for several years starting at $14 mil. Any thoughts?

Can't see GSW moving Klay unless it alleviated their future tax hit, making MKG's contract too short and Batum too expensive. Zeller is interesting because he's cost controlled and fits a need except GSW's cheapest option is going the annual rent-a-center route.

That said, Cody would be awesome there so I think Cody + 11's rookie scale is a fair price but GSW needs a compelling reason to move Klay early. CHA could add Frank and his future RFA which is a little too pricey.

But at least CHA keeps MKG for a spectacular wing rotation. MKG slide to backup PF and Marvin splits time between PF and backup center.
