I'd imagine the Kings would consider using 5+10 to move up, but there better be a whole lot more coming back than 3.
While the value is still not equal, if they sent some 2nd rounders with 3 I'd be for it if the mocks of who will be available are correct. I'd easily take some of the names listed in the upper half of the 2nd round over some of the names speculated in the 10-15 range. I could be another genius looking move down move for Vlade.
I'd rather fill my rebuilding roster with lotto picks instead of 2nd rounders.
IMO there is too much talent at 5 to sacrifice 10. Use 34 to fill your back up PG need in Mason III and call it a day. Add high upside lotto picks and don't get cute.

There are serious advantages to drafting players in the 2nd round though. You can do like they did with Isaiah Cousins last year, let them stay in the minors while working on their games where they don't take spots up on your bench or cap, and you don't have to worry about endless call ups and what not.
And who knows obviously who will be available at 10 or especially the 2nd round, but if you can snag players like Swanigan, Frank Jackson, Semi Ojeleye, and or an eventual free fall candidate of Whiteside proportions (Anunoby? Giles? Rabb?). I think that puts a lot of talent in your lap that you can let develop outside of the confines of the 9-10 rotation spots you have available.
