Passing on Fultz to pick anyone else is pure stupidity. If he doesn't think he's the best prospect then he's in a small minority.

Past performance doesn't give you carte blanche to be a complete moron. These trades NEVER work out especially in today's NBA. This will be looked upon in 20 years as Ainge Folly. His clock just hit midnight.

sac pick is protected per WOJ.

Seems like extremely subtle sarcasm, and a thoughtful reply by Jaqua?
Didn't mean to offend dude. Sarcasm sometimes is best when subtle, at least in person, online, not so much. Trust me, I get the whole mobile thing. My apologies if I seemed "dickish."

He traded Paul Pierce and KG, he traded Rondo, he could possibly trade IT in the near future.
And now, he traded a player that most of us fell for even before wearing green.
He traded Paul pierce when he was thirty five and washed up, stfu

Chill out dude jeez. Cs fans loved 25 PP just as much as 35 years old PP.

Fultz never stood alone for me. Ever.
I truly wanted Josh Jackson from the start, that being said, once we got the #1 pick I talked myself into Fultz hard.
However, I'm now fully talking myself into the LAL 2018 1st.
Doncic, Ayton, Bemba? Yes please.
You think the Lakers will be that bad next year?
Why wouldn't they be? They're horrendous. They almost passed the Nets this year. Nothing really changes for them.
I don't mind the trade insofar as we're rebuilding. But...
1) Doing it right now, and not on draft night, doesn't make sense to me.
2) I'd like to see Ainge follow up a move like this with a concerted effort towards rebuilding. Flipping picks for some 2nd tier "win now" player would be very disappointing.

Does the word protection mean anything to you? Those picks are near worthless.
It didn't mean anything to your parents, and you seemed to turn out OKCome on man, relax and let the process play out.
Not really time to joke around. Look at those picks he already has outside of BKN. Top 7 protected. Top 15 protected. Garbage. Complete garbage.

Just what the team needs. A vet. Vet means old. Vet means someone who will do nothing for this team and age quickly.
Vet meaning someone like Butler or George. I just don't think it's going to be either of those two. It will be someone we didn't see coming
nymets1 wrote:How are you guys doing now? Are you ready for Josh Jackson? I don't think the Celtics are asking for Offense out of JJ in his rookie year, after rookie year maybe. I think the Celtics want JJ to guard the best player on the opposing team. I think it would be a really great move for the Celtics if JJ focuses 100% of his energy on defense. I wanna see how JJ can fare on defense against Durant and Lebron in particular.

It most certainly does. Just because a guy on RealGM says it's moronic does not make it so. When you deliver a championship, then fleece another franchise to build the future, then build an Eastern Conference finals team from stuff you find in a couch, call us.

They're adding Lonzo and their young guys should improve, and many people seem to think they were tanking last year. No motivation to lose now.
