Booker is not going anywhere. He is the face of the franchise for the upcoming years. Those who are including him in trade talks are being ridicules.
And bender isn't going anywhere also.

I so much prefer Bell to Brooks given our roster balance, but what do I know.

This is Booker's team. The next guy we draft is going to be Book's running mate. I don't think Isaac fits that bill, however, Ball, Jackson, and Tatum does.

This is something along the lines of what I see. In fact, I will give them the possible Phoenix Pick if its top 10 protected else Miami pick. Also, Derrick Jones Jr. would be included.
The Pacres have zero leverage - you are telling me the Suns can get Love for Warren, Knight, a 2018 first and Jones, I pretty much do that deal.

He's pretty explosive for his size, length.. definitely more explosive than say, Tatum. He was very inconsistent, but that goes for most of these guys. He's definitely not an avg defender though. Even his DX video says he can guard 1-4. He's a little bit like WCS with a shot, more explosiveness and way more upside.
He has zero offensive moves. Doesn't it worry you that his baskets were all assisted but like 10% or something like that? That's terrible. Also asthma is a concern for me as well.
That's not true at all.
90% assisted rate is impossible.
Deandre Jordan and Clint Cappella are 70%,76% for their careers.
https://hoop-math.com/FloridaSt.2017.php
Isaac was assisted on 83.9% of his threes.
36% on MR jumpers
48.6% at the rim.

Would you be upset if we end up with Isaac? I imagine that answer is different if JJ is still on the board vs not on board. I can't remember your big board.

Stupid idea by Simmons. He thinks the Pacers have leverage. They do not. I can possibly only see Bledsoe traded if they think Knight will revert to some form without Bledsoe around. But not Chriss or Bender. I can see Bledsoe, Warren and the lesser of Miami and Phoenix. Just have to hope Knight without Bledsoe is a helluva lot better. He is younger

For Isaac fans, what do you see as his ultimate upside? Do you project him to be a player capable of making several allstar appearances, or more of the ultimate role player type?

I have JJ at 2 and Isaac at 3, just because I had a crush on JJ in the all-american game (actually destroying tatum and dishing unbelievable passes all game long)

For a 6'10-6'11 guy with a finesse game... he's explosive enough.
Shooting can improve...
Weight gain comes with maturation
He's good defensively... can cover small players to bigs.... but too weak to guard bangers.
This is another issue I have with Isaac. This is virtually the same description of Bender with a little more explosiveness and a touch shorter. I just don't see why we need another 3/4 big when we're still trying to figure out Bender. I've always maintained the mindset that players outside of Booker can be considered moving pieces so if a guy comes in to play the same position, they must either have more potential or they are a better fit long term for us. With Chris and Bender manning that 3?/4/5 position and Warren/DJJ at the 3, I have a hard time seeing enough development time for Isaac.
This is all after looking at his play. I think his shooting is still suspect, guard skills (handles, passing) are shakey and far from an asset at this point and defensively, he has the tools to be a monster but the question is not when but if he puts it altogether. If we're rolling the dice, I'd rather have JJ or Tatum.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of point guards who can't shoot or pass.
I'm not a fan of anyone who can't shoot...shooting IS basketball, otherwise its soccer.
I get it with your PG who can't shoot philosophy, but Jackson not being able to shoot means he is one dimensional right now with the hopes of being a two-way player as well. With this logic, isn't Monk and Tatum better prospects? Both can shoot and have the tools to play defense.
If Jackson and Fox never learn to shoot......then they are a wasted picks at number 4. Getting Monk to defend PG and Tatum to focus on D a little more is easier than getting non-shooters to shot better. IMO, of course.
I agree about shooting, but I think Jackson makes up for that with the rest of his game. I'd definitely take him over Monk and Tatum.

The question is why would we want Love? Our target isnt into to be in the playoffs this year or the one after that so why would we mess up our development time with Chriss and Bender to bring Love in?
I doubt Pacers would even think about a Warren/Knight package without Suns #4. Warren is a RFA next year and Knight...well? 14.5 million x 3 seasons says plenty.
Why PHX might tilt towards Love in such a deal might have a lot to do with Warren & Knight's contract situations.

No way. Odom was an Elite rebounder and play maker. At least this is better than the KG, Giannis crap I've been seeing.

the scouting reports I've read call him one of the best(if not THE best) defenders in the draft. that's his whole appeal.
McD has to ask himself whether he values a guy who peaks at 75% of prime Melo(Tatum's ceiling IMO) or 75% of Draymond(Isaac's ceiling IMO)

If its Love for George - not sure another team is needed. Now, if the Pacers want to go younger and kind of rebuild, the Suns can help
To me, if I am the Cavs, I have no problem going for it one more year. Kyrie, George, LeBron, Tristan - that's pretty damn solid. Bogut probably re-ups for cheap. PJ Tucker maybe.
