Is there anyone on this list that you WOULD NOT draft if he were the odd man out of the Top 6?
If so, I think trading No. 7 should be seriously considered. If not, go ahead and wait for whoever falls.
The more I think about it, the more I think Malik Monk should be seriously considered as well.
I know everyone wants to move LaVine to the bench permanently, but I'm not convinced that will happen. If it doesn't, this team is in desperate need of bench scoring and 3-point shooting. Enter Monk, who easily takes care of both issues. Defense is still an issue, but it's an area that can be addressed in free agency.
He might have one of the lowest floors of anyone in the Top 10, due to his 3-point shooting. And with that athleticism, I wouldn't say his ceiling is limited either. He could easily play alongside Rubio, Dunn or LaVine, which keeps a number of rotation combinations open.
