D'Angelo Russell is from right outside of Indiana (Louisville, Kentucky). The Pacers might take Mozgov if Russell's in the deal. They need someone they can sell.

Good chance we'll be keeping LA18. Lakers were already 4th in the league. Then add the #2 pick, Paul George and they have a little cap space to boot.

I don't think they'll trade anything. They know George is coming to LA when he's a free agent. Why lose assets?

They don't have enough cap space to sign George in '18 without shedding some bad contracts, which they'll need to pay other teams to accept. There's also the chance that IND ships George off to a contender who might be able to convince him to stay. LA is in a tricky position.

I'm pretty confident they can get someone to take on Clarkson. He's a young scoring guard that could provide scoring off the bench. If they sell him for a 2nd rounder, I think someone would bite. Mozgov and Deng are probably there to stay at this point in their careers.

If I were a Laker fan I would probably want them to try to trade for him now simply because they have work to do otherwise to be able to afford him, and it is never a sure thing that he comes next summer.

I mean if the Cavs traded for him, and won the title, they might find a taker for Kevin Love in the offseason and resign George.

I wouldn't trade the second pick for him obviously, but I would think about Randle, or maybe even Russell.

The Pacers are over a barrel and if the Lakers gave them Russell I bet they would go for it today.

I'm not high on Russell and I don't think Magic is either, and getting George into the fold immediately has major advantages obviously.

Draft Ball for sure, and then try to find a better defending 2 guard of the future eventually.

The Lakers should learn from the Melo trade, just stand firm, keep 100% of your assets and benefit from the addition of a huge one when the time comes several months later.

we are bring in quite a few end of draft/ undrafted type prospects for workouts...so I fully expect us to punt on most of our second rounders via selling or stashing picks.

Jordan Bell, OG Anunoby, Blossomgame , Justin Jackson, Devin Robinson , TJ Leaf and Harry Giles all would bs excellent fits for us. Especially Bell, OG and Giles. Robinson in 2nd round would be amazing too.

That's why we're going to draft him with our 1st overall pick.

Now just draft Bell and Hart in the 2nd rd and the roster would have crazy versatility.

Fultz/Hart
Korkmaz/TLC
Simmons/Roco
Bell or Saric
Embiid/Holmes/Bell

Not to mention the possibility of signing Porter Jr., that team is a match up nightmare to try to prepare for. Get er done BC!

Side note: Lakers pick not conveying was the best outcome ever. Next year's draft has some high upside at the top, but Mohammed Bamba, DeAndre Ayton and even Michael Porter jr. are poor fits with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid here. I love Luka Doncic and we protected ourselves from losing the possibility of drafting him.

If Fultz were in next year's draft he would be the #1 pick while looking even more dominant a year older. People do not take issue with 19 year old college freshmen/20 year old NBA rookies.

what's the highest 1st the sixers can get up now with 4 seconds (36. 36, 46, 50)
future 2nds
future later 1sts (OKC)
and players on the fringe (Okafor, Henderson, Stauskas)

i feel like the nets at 22/27 can be a real target
portland at 26
jazz at 24

Jackson is a great prospect, however the Sixers would of had to get a Lowry type PG in free agency to balance the roster. Pay a 31 year old a max salary or get a 19 yr old, Fultz, who may be better and fits perfectly with our young core. This trade works for both teams.
