"The calls to trade Randle or Russell to Indiana for Paul George should be tempered, they share an agent with Paul George, it's significant. If you have been reading my words on Bleacher, the main expendable piece the Lakers can offer for George is Clarkson, may not be enough. As I've written, it's up to Aaron Mintz, George's agent, to try and manipulate the market, if he and his client are truly set on Lakers...IF. To an extent, the Pacers can ignore George's agent and his method but at risk is losing George for nada. If a team is willing to give up value to rent George for a season, so be it."
I don't understand the theory that all an agents' clients have to play for the same team, or be treated well, or whatever, at the pain of you not being able to sign the agent's best client.
Maybe that makes sense if the agent is Lebron James' childhood friend and business partner. But otherwise, I suspect it of being much overstated.
