I will say this, while I do think Fultz is going to be a stud offensive player, I won't say that he's better than the field. I can see someone other than Fultz being the best player in this draft. Problem is, this definitely feels like a draft where you can get a Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, etc. a lot of very talented seniors and upperclassmen. Then you have untapped potential like Zach Collins. This one is a real crapshoot, but I do think Fultz is guaranteed to be great on at least one side of the court.

Totally agree. There's a plethora of point guards, small wings and combo guards in the second round who have a chance to be a surprise. One of the many reasons I would've been perfectly fine with Josh Jackson, Tatum or Isaac, is because I think Frank Mason, Frank Jackson, Edmond Sumner and Dillon Brooks have considerably more game than a lot of the bigs projected ahead of them.

As it stands, I'd like to see if we can exchange a bunch of those seconds for one of Portland's three first-round picks. Instead of worsening their cap situation, they can stash those picks and keep them off the books.

I still don't like the idea of hooking Boston up, and I believed all along we could've gotten it for less than the LA pick. However, it is slightly less than the LA pick. It's a slight overpay to a rival. But I get it. The fit is undeniable. And when I saw Joel and Dario's pic and how excited they were, I decided to get over the price tag.

I've said over and again, Sacramento needs Josh Jackson or Tatum and Boston's real target has always been getting #5 and #10 for Jonathan Isaac and Zach Collins:

The Kings are “starved” for Kansas forward Josh Jackson, according to The Vertical’s Chris Mannix. The vibe I get from chatting with league sources is there’s a distinct possibility that the Kings would look to move up ahead of Phoenix (no. 4) for Jackson, possibly using the no. 5 and no. 10 picks, but they’d need more back than just the no. 3 pick. If I were the Kings, I’d want Crowder, who is locked into a cheap deal through 2020, or Smart, who the Kings were targeting in the 2014 draft. It’s doubtful the Celtics would be willing to cough up either player, but they need to trim salary to have maximum cap space. The Kings have good reason to ask for a nice player in return. – via The Ringer

I just can't see how Sacramento can go into the season with a Lawson/Collison pg rotation.

Have you seen some of the PG combinations we have had over the past few years?

I honestly think Sacramento is going to be cautious and stay at 5-10 to get a PG and wing.

Kings will be much better by 2019.

I think SAC will stay at 5 and take Ball/Fox/DSJ. That talk about them wanting Jackson is Ainge having his media plants try to drum up a market.

I do think SAC is open to dealing 10, though, and Zach Collins should still be on the board. If I were BC, I'd be looking at getting back up there for him.

It's crazy but Big Collar Brand has been right up there with the most competent GM's of the offseason. I'm about to buy one of those $500 collars.
