He jumps high but he is slow in terms of vertical point A to point B.

Slow vertically?

You realize this is physically impossible, right? The acceleration of gravity on objects in motion is constant. If you get high off the ground, it necessarily means you 'explode' vertically fast enough to counteract the acceleration of gravity until you reach the peak of your jump. At this point you're talking about the aesthetics of someone jumping, not how effective they are at getting off the ground.

You could make the argument that Fultz looks more labored going into his jump than players who effortlessly get off the ground like Westbrook or Wiggins. Which is fine. Those guys are crazy bouncy and can practically get off the ground without much gather.

huskies also lost a senior guard who averaged over 20 ppg along with murray and chriss

And added two misfits in Sam Timmins and Carlos Johnson who were absolutely fatal for the P&R defense and spacing.

Timmins is a bonafide scrub. Looked like a tall gym rat that Romar plucked straight out of the IMA. He was good for 1 Fultz TO a game due to his inability to catch a ball. He had no business being on a college basketball team.

So a space shuttle leaves the ground at the same speed that Markelle Fultz leaps for a dunk?

1. That isn't what he said at all. A space shuttle is perpetually propelling itself, which is why it flies. A human can't propel further once they leave the ground.

2. What he is saying is that when a player jumps to a certain height (let's say 35 inches off the ground), every person will reach that peak and come back down at the same speed. That's just how gravity works. If someone were to jump with more velocity than the person jumping up to 35 inches, that person would end up jumping past the 35 inches. The speed at which you leave the ground determines how high you jump, not how fast you get to a certain point.

Good clips showing how Fultz uses screens. Lethal in a two man game either with biid or simmons.

Yeah, he mentioned thay he can't wait for SL and tbh, I'd be sort of disappointed if he didn't tear it up there.

If Fultz has Magic's vision and can score like Harden I will personally build a statue of Bryan.

So that might be bang on with the scoring, the vision is a huge stretch. It's okay, we drafted Magic last year.

Givony on Woj's podcast said he sat down with Fultz yesterday and Fultz said the Sixers players have been amazing to him and he considers Embiid a big brother because Embiid has really embraced him as the missing piece and Fultz really appreciates that.

Yeah can you imagine if Fultz becomes Boston Strangler II. It will just add to the rivalry. Love it.

Where as if we drafted De'Angelo Russell, he would've just been a rat.
