You realize this is physically impossible, right? The acceleration of gravity on objects in motion is constant. If you get high off the ground, it necessarily means you 'explode' vertically fast enough to counteract the acceleration of gravity until you reach the peak of your jump. At this point you're talking about the aesthetics of someone jumping, not how effective they are at getting off the ground.
You could make the argument that Fultz looks more labored going into his jump than players who effortlessly get off the ground like Westbrook or Wiggins. Which is fine. Those guys are crazy bouncy and can practically get off the ground without much gather.
