If the Sixers could get something thrown in might as well take a look, not that many teams have tons of cap space like the Sixers.

IMO it show he's pressure with the heat he's getting from the trade.

OK, so you don't want Butler or George because you already have a lot of players of that type - what about Nerlens Noel? He would have been the perfect player to add and certainly would have helped a push this year and surely you could have topped the deal the Mavs got him for, even if you have to pay quite a bit more because you're trading in conference with the 6ers.

You can't measure teams against the Warriors like that, especially young teams. I think that the Wolves are now ready to take the next step, up to a solid playoff team.
The growth in their team beyond that will likely come with how good Towns and Wiggins can get. Wiggins is behind the 8 ball right now, but I still think that he has a good chance of one day becoming an allstar. The superstar ship has sailed.
Towns is a pure franchise player, and he is the REAL difference maker there. If he can improve his defense some more(and I think he can especially if he plays the 4) then they could jump up into the mid 50's with wins in two years.
History is littered with elite teams with elite futures that didn't pan out. The Warriors don't have a clear horizon to keeping that team together by any stretch. They are underpaying that current team, and injuries can happen at anytime. It is very easy to be lulled into the sense that they are going to be the best team in the league for the next 5 years. History gives them very little chance to do that, but that is why we play the games of course.

Good points. The wolves should be exciting to watch, Butler fits well with them. Anyway, it's amazing how bb iq is hard to judge with players. For example, Wiggins is such a gifted player but seems to lack the bb iq to make his teammates better, so far. Whether it's an extra pass or better team defense. Maybe, he can improve his bb iq in the future. Furthermore, Simmons seems to have a very high bb iq and it should be interesting to see if he will make the Sixers better. Although adding teammates with the potential of Fultz, Embiid, and others should make that task easier.

Wiggins is holding that team back. For as bad as they fleeced CHI... they probably are a better team if they had dealt Wiggins and kept LaVine. At least Zach provides spacing. You can sag off Wiggins. He's like a more athletic but non-passing version of DeRozan.

I thought, considering everything, passing up on Nerlens turns out good for him. Atleast he can optimally use his cap for a Hayward or George while also ending up with Jaylen.

I just don't see how those 2 would help them, they are already loaded up at those positions.
They need a big man, and Noel would've at least helped them out a lil with that issue.
