I could be wrong but I assumed the Celtics have a private plane or two and Danny Ainge would be flying in it if he were visiting an allstar level player he wanted to sign. If that assumption is correct then I'd guess that a tweet like the one above would almost certainly be false. But I could be wrong on my whole guess.

He's also got family there so no surprise he'd be out there early for summer league and FA meetings. Get some family time in then back to work.

The pacers are just trying to be greedy wanting and expecting more from teams forgetting he said he longer wants to be on the team, and he could only be a rental. Even the Gm said recently they are a couple of deals they could have accepted but they don't want to do a bad deal.In my opinion,the pacers are just being greedy. The Celtics offer is good.

I heard the deal is two picks and two players, one being the LA, the other is unknown.

If the deal is two players, it's not getting done before we use our max cap space. Otherwise we basically have no shot at adding a max deal.

I'm pretty skeptical in a 'new' report being released that's about a deal that was discussed on draft day. Seems like a strategic leak by the Cavs to try to drum up interest in Love.

This. For PG and Hayward, it's a risk you just have to take. I hate losing the pick, but it's absolutely worth it for those guys.

Top 10 might be a bit of an exaggeration. FWIW he came in 20th in 2017 All-NBA voting.

So if the current offer is something like Zeller, Crowder, 2018 BOS 1st, 2018 LAL 1st, I would much rather keep the Lakers/SAC pick and Crowder. Give them Tatum (as much as it pains me), filler, and 2019 LAC 1st instead.

That Lakers pick could turn out to be gold in a draft loaded with bigs. And even if we don't get it next year, Kings will be baaaad for at least a couple of years. Jae is also more suited in a win-now scenario than the rook, esp on the defensive end covering both forward positions. Crowder and Smart would be the 6th and 7th man on a contender ala Livingston and Iggy.
