I Don't mind super teams if there were at least 6 to 8 of them and they happened to be spread relatively evenly between the 2 conferences.
There's really never been a time there have been more then 5, 6, maybe 7 contenders.
I would want more competitive playoffs as an in general though. Back in the day, it wasn't this garbage where you knew it was a sweep every round and every matchup. Even 8 seeds had a shot, even if it were a shot in the dark.
I at least do not want to not know the outcome of a series absolute before each one starts.
I at least want 4 or 5 teams that LEGITIMATELY can actually win the entire thing.
It's truly a double-edged sword.
On one hand we hate these guys teaming up and leaving their past teams high and dry, especially when their former teams were real deal contenders, one trade or late draft pick lotto hit away from dominance.
But on the other we cry that no one big time leaves money on the table and just switches sides.
KD still pulled a bitch move imho. I don't feel as strongly about that as some, but all the context adds up to that sum. But I love seeing guys switch.
Imagine Kidd left for San An? We never trade for VC and maybe we windup with Dwight Howard and CP3, organically through the draft? Or Deron Williams(I know, I know lol) and Brandon Roy? Or Kevin Durant and Kevin Love? All while San An cock blocks LAL and Detroit over and over haha.
Idk man, NBA has been boring lately, but I honestly feel the next 4 seasons are gonna be lit, both league-wide and our own team developing during a period of darkness.
