That's an interesting thought. They don't have much to trade and really not sure two cash dumps like Beveryly and Lou Williams are enough value for Bledsoe.
I mean Crawford, Bev and Williams for Knight /Bledsoe work in the trade machine but seems like not getting enough value for Bledsoe
Sorry, I didn't see your post before I posted, I was thinking the same thing as you. I guess I could have just and1 your post.
But lets thinks about this longer - if you are the Suns and you are not sure Bledsoe is the long term fit == -- plus you have the Knight contract - would the Suns be any worse of a team with Beverly, Williams and Crawford.
Crawford is the 6th man that Knight will never be - so a positive
Beverly/Sweet Lou = well hard to say they would be better than Bledsoe
Suns would be using Bledsoe, so selling low to get rid of Knight
Clippers probably do not even make the deal and I am sure the Suns do not - but if management doesn't think EB is the answer - would create cap space in two years as Crawford is done a year earlier than Knight - but I think end of the day, probably not the best use of Bledsoe as a trade partner.
Now if you made it a three team deal where Sweet Lou/Beverly were moved for a better fit for the Suns - I might be amenable to that
Bledsoe to the Clips
Knight to Clips and Crawford to the Suns
Sweet Lou/Beverly to Team X for a player for the Suns
