Them together though?....they can both look great in Hornacek's uptempo system.

lol this contact aint even in the same ballpark as noah's. phil gave noah the worst contract in the league.

Yup Nosh was coming off two injury plagued seasons and was on the decline. It is the worst contract in the league.

Hardaway is improving and will be at his peak next 4 years

Again we won't be negotiating from a position of strength.

Sure we will.
We can simply keep both.

KP
Melo
Lee
Timmy
Frank

See how easy that was?

Having close to 30 mill committed to 2G possition every year is incredibly dumb. Dotson would be a fine backup 2.

Yeah.

Look around the league.

They would've been better off giving JJ Reddick 2 yrs, or giving him a lot for one, if they wanted a SG

I would say Chandler Parsons is far worse but Noah's is up there as worst in the league.

That system relies on PG play and we have none. Baker is a 3rd-string combo guard, we have no idea if Frank can even play PG in the NBA, and Randle should never be the PG.

If we were acquiring players for Hornacek's system, it seems like it would have made much more sense to draft Dennis Smith Jr.

On a positive note, I do like Timmy's work ethic.

I dont consider him that good of a player, but he did rebound last yr. Showed some signs in his rookie yr, then took a giant step back in his 2nd season. He was a pretty terrible defender when he was with us. He did improve a bit with Atlanta, but I dont think he was a near 18 million dollar improvement.

He needs to continue shooting effciciently from the floor. 45% from the floor is pretty solid for a guard. Does need to improve his 3pt percentage, its too average. He should be near 40% from 3 to be more impactful.

Defense will be the key for Timmy though. Its the main reason why I disliked him when he was here. It was really that bad. Just be average on that end of the floor, just be average. All im asking for.

They already have Bazemore locked up for big money and he's really not a 3. Atlanta doesn't necessarily draw big crowds either so I'm not sure they'd want to add that type of money to a player that doesn't move the needle in Atlanta. It's not like he was a fan favorite. At this point I'm just hopeful he continues to get better in a Knicks jersey.

Nah I meant rebound from the last time he played for us. Not actually rebound.

I think he meant rebound like he bounced back, not rebound as in grabbing boards in a game

JJ doesn't make sense. Tim is 25 and hasn't reached his prime yet. He's young and athletic and could fit in Hornacek's offense.
