If he has THjr and Ntilikina working out at his gym, it is so hard for me to believe there isn't a part of Melo that wants to stay in NY, even if they are in the lottery again.
I think he will end up in Houston. However, the more this continues to drag on, the more I suspect Melo will not get dealt. If Melo embraces a mentor role and falls in line with a youth movement, how can you totally force him out?
I feel like Melo would be just as happy staying a Knicks as he would be going to Houston or Cleveland.
He's getting brought out if he refuses to agree to a trade I think that much is clear.. The Knicks WANT him out
Highly doubt it.
They will hold on to him and try to trade at the trade deadline. Then he has an opt out clause after this season and 99% he exercises that to sign a new 3 year $60+ mil deal.
