Weird ass stats. Hayward was extremely efficient last year on a bad offensive team and isn't on this list? 8th best scorer in the league- behind the likes of Durant, IT... etc. The guy was super good and he ain't even there.

For real tho, if Horfie had a mean bone in his body, he'd be a an All-time player. Bigs like him don't come around too often. I mean he can pass, shoots 2's, 3's, post up, block shots, okay rebounder(was better a few years ago), defends the PnR well... He juts needs aggresiveness, which he lacks at times(and will probably never get). In the Cavs series he scored at will on the block against Love and Thompson.. He should've asked for the ball till the Cavs doubled him which they would've done.

Best thing would be that OKC aren't a PO team (westbrook injured or something), and in February OKC decides to trade George to Boston.

Every now and then, after many claps have been had to build up energy, one of those claps will connect at just the right angle, sparking the built up energy stores and setting off a wave of concurrent combustions, bringing forth to Horford the fire and passion of Kevin Garnett. It usually lasts about the rest of the current game, then takes a few months to charge back up again.

Bulpett: Danny Ainge probably not done wheeling and dealing

“No, we’re not comfortable yet,” Danny Ainge told the Herald. “We do like our team, but we’re still going to search things out to see if we can find anything that makes us better this offseason.”
And it would appear that Jae Crowder will be around to provide muscle and leadership. After sources confirmed he was part of sign-and-trade talks with Utah for Hayward that went nowhere, he is going nowhere — barring, of course, an unrefusable offer. Crowder is under contract for the next three years at a total of nearly $22 million, which is bargain-type stuff in today’s market.
“Jae is a big part of what we’re doing,” said Ainge. “I mean, he was our best 3-point shooter last year, and he defends some of the top players in the league. Jae’s a very important player for us going forward.”
The key now will be seeing how the Celts can fit in the various possible combinations. The club would still not seem to have enough minutes for all those it would like to get onto the court, but the hope is that things will shake out early on for Brad Stevens.
“Brad is very much involved in all that we do,” said Ainge. “We talk all the time, so I think we know how we think it will all fit. But obviously you never know for sure. We’re trying to get a team that not only is a group of good players, but also a team that does fit.”
“I’m really impressed with Terry,” said Ainge. “He came in and worked out a couple of days in Boston, and he looked really, really good. He looked better than he even did in the playoffs for us. I think Terry has a very bright future. I’m very excited about him.”
Overall, it’s clear the Celtics don’t believe they’re where they need to be to compete exactly eye to eye with the league’s elite. Therefore, between now and next February’s trade deadline, their roster would have to be considered very much a fluid entity.

Kevin Love
Porzingis (mediocre rebounder right now)
Anthony Davis
Demarcus Cousins
Vucevic?

Short list Danny.

Bogut maybe?? We were interested last year. He was impressed by us. Vet minimum. Can play 15-20 minutes hopefully without dissolving into dust.

Winners and losers from NBA's stunning free agency
Winner: Boston Celtics

                                    Winner: Boston Celtics
Hayward is perfect for Boston. Had the Pacers waited five days, the Celtics might have Paul George, too. When the league lowered its cap projection from about $101 million to $99 million, it became trickier for Boston to acquire George before free agency and leave enough space for Hayward.
With Hayward aboard, Boston would have at least revived its draft-day offer: two starters and three picks from among Boston's own first-rounders and protected selections coming from the Clippers and Grizzlies. They might have even shoved in one of their golden chips -- next season's Brooklyn pick or the Lakers-Kings pick they snagged in the Markelle Fultz deal -- to get across the goal line. Indiana will never know.
Boston earned this with one of the greatest rebuilds in sports history. The Celtics aren't even supposed to be here now, eyeing LeBron. Fleecing Brooklyn was about Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and those extra picks. It was about 2020 and beyond. Along the way, they nailed the side moves too many teams neglect -- or fail to notice at all. They stole Isaiah Thomas. They insisted on Jae Crowder as a throw-in to the Rajon Rondo trade. Boom: Forty percent of the starting lineup on a conference finals team, from found money.
Being good drew Horford. Getting better drew Hayward. Now Boston can play for 2018 and 2022. Hayward is a half-decade-plus older than Tatum and Brown, but their presence -- and those future picks -- factored into his calculus, even if players so young are rarely ready to win alongside a prime-aged star. Maybe those two are, though; Brown looks it. And if Hayward sticks in Boston, they represent successors ready to carry him into his 30s.

Has a better chance than Dedmon. He can shoot the 3 ball which is something this organization values. Ainge has no interest in traditional centers. Personally I'd be all in on Dedmon but thats just me.

We’re trying to get a team that not only is a group of good players, but also a team that does fit.”“I’m really impressed with Terry,” said Ainge.
Seems to cover everyone but Smart. He's the only tradeable contract left.
I suppose they could turn around and trade Morris as well.
