Said Cleveland basically said no way without Jackson but Suns will still keeps lines open. Cleveland said they want a blue chip prospect and since he mentioned Minny some are connecting Wiggins. Don't tinier hiw that will work now that they signed Teague

Now we may trade unprotected picks for another 40% shooter who's 25, who plays similarly to Brandon Knight, albeit at a much higher level.

Lets learn a lesson and trade protected picks only.

I agree. If we don't trade Jackson, I imagine they will want picks, and they will really want our pick for next year without protection, because they will want one of those top guys. I can't see Chriss, Bender or Warren being guys they think our their "blue chippers" in a Kyrie deal. It would probably be more than one pick as well...maybe 2018 and 2020.

I won't be surprised if Cleveland waits until December and tries to do a Wiggins/Teague for Kyrie swap, or even pushes for a George Hill/DeAaron Fox package if the Kings are really interested.

NBA HISTORY!

Think about that .

Not even close...at least we got a halfway decent year out him...when we are talking worst trades of all time, I'm thinking, while we are on the subject of Irving, the unprotected pick that netted Kyrie, and Baron Davis, for Mo Williams, who gave them 74 'meh' games and only 24 starts, who was then traded for Lamar Odom...yeah, now THAT's bad! At least Knight was a rising star at the time and thought to be on an upward trajectory. Mo Williams was 28 and only hitting 27% of his 3s at the time...

...and then there's the Harden trade, Barkley trade, Joe Johnson trade (last two we benefitted from, of course), so Knight doesn't come close, in my eyes. Shoot, the Dragic trade looks worse, IMO. Dragic may be better, but those two picks may be worth more than the one...you never know...

Why not Bledsoe? And what does that have to do with Kendall Marshall? And why is Kendall Marshall a fan of Kerrsed? And the biggest question, why would Kerrsed put his name next to Justin Bieber?

Don't forget the Steve Nash trade. That was highway robbery for us.

Depends on how broken the relationship is. If Kyrie becomes a cancer and divides the locker room it is going to be tough to hold on to him for very long. They may not have the luxury of waiting.

In looking at teams that can meet the Cavs wants:
Celtics: they have Isiah, Crowder, picks but and maybe a young guy in Smart. But Thomas, Crowder and picks makes them very competitive
Kings: they have Fox - but not sure any veterans worth trading, not much cap space
Miami: Dragic - but he is 6 years older than Kyrie; they don't have picks in 2018 or 2019 AnD 2021; Justice Winslow, no cap space
Spurs - next , Murray, Danny Green, picks will stink
NYK: they really don't have much to trade except Porzingis

I am sure I am missing teams

So I get to Phoenix and Suns have Bledsoe, they have veterans like Dudley or Chandler, they have the Heat pick in 2018 (sorry that first round pick is no-go- well we can make it lottery protected) and can take on salary and either Chriss or Warren

I get the Twolves have Wiggins -that's pretty sweet right there

There's still a very good chance we trade for Kyrie in my eyes. I can't think of another team besides New York with the stones to do it.

It's too early to judge. It's really bad, but if it's a pick that ends up being a superstar, it will be up there.

I doubt it. Lonzo makes people better, and that includes Brook Lopez. They could win 38, 42 games next year.

Man, I kinda want Nerlens Noel. I just think he has the potential to be a real defensive MONSTER

Bender, Noel, and Jackson on the floor at the same time will create problems for other teams, I wouldn't want to pay him too much but I rather pay Noel a bit more than pay Len

I mean worst case Dallas matches. That guys isn't taking a QO with his injury concerns.

Renounce Len, offer Noel like 40 or 45 million for 3 years, with a team option in year 3

What do you guys think about the Crabbe trade? Big blunder by the Blazers FO IMO. They could have done a sign and trade with Brooklyn and got some assets in return, instead they waited a year and got absolutely nothing.
