Having MKG on defense would be really really nice. Too bad his nonexistent jumper probably would make him too much of a liability with Lebron

If its Charlotte, it will be Kemba + Batum

Is the upgrade from Kemba to Kyrie worth giving up Batum for Charlotte?

Yeah, probably. And that would most likely be better than MKG for the cavs I'm just saying having a defender like MKG would be huge

Honestly, I feel like all this crap with Kyrie, the mocking of LeBron's "Coming Home" the "House of the Rising son" cryptic on PHX, and now this mocking LeBron vid with Curry, it feels intentional to try to get himself out as fast as possible. It appears to be a "You might not trade me, well watch this" type immature move. So sadly, I do feel like there is going to come a time in the next month where we have to find a deal for him. Things will really get interesting when we start getting towards training camp. I was more of a sit back and make him wait for us type deal, but I underestimated how insanely childish Kyrie actually is I guess. He seems determined to act out enough til we finally just unload him.

It's the old annoy your GF into dumping you move. Or something. But even if Kyrie is crazy disruptive, taking garbage back for him is probably still worse for the NBA. Assuming Kyrie doesn't out and out sandbag the team or damage his own career by showing up out of shape or something.

Batum is equally good as MKG on defense but he is actually a competent offensive player as well.

I think the gap between Kemba/Kyrie is Batum personally. Also, cant forget the big thing that comes with Kyrie is not just the player, but the exposure and $$ your team gets by having him on your team. Kyrie would sell much more. Something a ownership group in a small market dreams about.

Thats why I think a small market team is going to be willing to give up far more than a major market. Essentially this is going to come down to Charlotte/Sacramento/Phoenix/Denver. Who can put together the biggest package of young blue chip talent and a capable veteran.

It just seems like he doesn't like working with Lebron or the Cav's ownership and he wants to change where he works. Most of us could just apply to other places, but the only thing he can do is ask for trade. I quit a job at 26 by writing "f--- yourself" on top of a new contract and walked out with Madonna's Like a Prayer blaring. Working a far better job now and laugh at that now, knowing the only thing I would do different is doing it sooner. It's just a fun hobby for you, but like most of know a lot of a Job is who you work with.

You're right. The only team this benefits is Houston.

We need a starting caliber small forward back in any trade for Carmelo. Shumpert doesnt fit that bill.
Can it be Ariza, Irving and a #1 when it it's all said and done?

Why in God's name would the Cavs make that deal either?

Just because you're able to match salary between a few teams doesn't mean it's a good trade for anyone, lmao.

Trade this loser ASAP. I can't wait to see Kyrie lose his way to the lottery next year. This chump thinks hes franchise talent lol.

Id call NYK today and say look we want Melo, we will give you Kyrie throw back Melo/Frank/1st. THen the Cavs can go look to trade Frank/1st/Shump for another legit piece.

Then watch Angry Lebron, and motivated Melo. Love and that piece tear the league apart.

Yeah and if you had a contract at said job you would be breaking a contract and subject to a lawsuit. Kyrie Irving signed this contract, until Cleveland trades him, which we do not have to do, he is under contract. Acting like a child, refusing to talk to the Cavs FO, publicly doing things try and get "fired" or in this case traded, is unprofessional, just like your way of going out on your employer. Especially when your job has been paying you well, treated you well ,and helped allow you to make a name for yourself.

Equating your job and this are two completely different things.

Beating your girlfriend with an xbox infront of your 2 year old is a little more severe and nobody gave a **** about adding Deandre Liggins to the team.

That would be delicious if Jackson gets traded to Cavs to play behind LeBron after avoiding Boston workouts so he wouldn't play behind anyone.

Yup cuz CLE is the only one who does it. One ahole or a few aholes don't paint an entire fan base. Ours just gets more viewage cuz of LBJ whereas other fanbases get to slide through without having to catch the faux-outrage of the outside world.

Can you point to some of the times Kyrie has been crying to the media? I dont think he has spoken to the media once during all of this and he was never really a guy that complained to the media during the season either.

I'm confused.

1. Asks for trade
2. Says because lebron
3. Says he franchise level talent provides list of teams he wants trade to even though he has 2 years left and doesn't have a no trade.
4. Says he's tired of hearing what lebron needs.

Where have you been the past 2 weeks?
