Well at least you let stats/facts get in the way of something that just isn't true. Simmons hasn't stepped on the court but is generational while Fultz gets treated like he's a Celtic......wait I think Tatum gets treated better here.
Guess we are going to throw batteries at Fultz in his first game, why not.
Seriously (not you btw), at least we could give him a game or two before everyone says he sucks. I would love to see Fultz put up 40 in the first game against Wall to shut all these haters up.
If Fultz can become as good as McCollum I'll be relieved. I won't be happy if he's only as good because we gave up a lot for him but at least he would be a good NBA player. I think he can at least get to that level.
Fair enough, 'can become' are the key words there. I've seen you mention him in the past, you do realize CJ stayed in school all 4 years of college, and took 2 years in the NBA to develop. CJ was 24 before he did anything significant, are you willing to wait on Fultz for 5 years??
Probably not. Point is, you guys are being a lil hard on him for his age....I know its a 'we want it right now' kinda mentality, it might happen like that, it might not. But jumping on a kid too early could ruin his confidence for forever, its happened time and time again.
What I hope your not saying is you expect him to be a fully developed CJ at 19, not like we should expect Simmons to be a fully developed Bron right now. How good was Embiid at 19....not as good as now, that took 4 years. Guess what, Ball's shot will stink cause people will actually guard him, but he will put up some good all around numbers to make himself look better cause that team doesn't have much rebounding or assists. Ball is also young and can develop, but that shot is hard to fix. He will make alot if left open of course, contested 3s in the NBA will be a huge problem....shots that Fultz will probably have more success with.
Back to Fultz, he already has a pretty developed game for his age, so its easy to question him. "He's already reached his peak', is the mentality. There are alot of things he can improve upon, but he has alot of special skills at his age also. Since your wanting him to be CJ.....give him 5 years....
