Proven to get a +5 ERA
His ERA in the 5-6 range makes him a #4-5 starter in this league.

and ERA in the 5-6 zone is horrible, that would almost mean your offense would HAVE to get 6-7 runs every 5th day exactly....chacin i overrated

As he is accustomed to going around 6 innings/start, an ERA of 5 to 6 would correspond to him giving up 3.33 to 4 runs / start. Many of the games will be decided by the bullpen.
I could actually live with Gus going 9 innings every start and giving up 6 runs... I'll trade the losses where Jays don't score more than 6 runs for the bullpen rest he would provide

No pitcher is gonna be able to physically average 9 innings /game, I didn't mean it that way. I was just playing around with numbers to come up with a weird hypothetical situation for my own amusement. Apologies
