Josh Rosen - QB - Bruins
An NFL scout told Sports Illustrated's Bruce Feldman that UCLA junior QB Josh Rosen "definitely got away with a number of poor choices" during Sunday's comeback win over Texas A&M.
Rosen threw at least two passes that probably should have been picked in the second half, though to be fair, he was forced to play a little bit looser than normal given the 34-point second-half deficit the Bruins faced over the final quarter-plus of Sunday's contest. Said the scout, "The question is from the neck up, he’s got everything from the neck down. Plenty of arm, easy release, accuracy when moving from one receiver to the next." He went on to tell Feldman that while Rosen performed more sharply than either Josh Allen or Sam Darnold -- his likely competition for being the first quarterback drafted in the spring -- during the opening weekend, he still has "a long way to go." The star junior ultimately finished with 491 yards passing and four touchdown tosses in Sunday's epic win.
