Most of our starters from last year's terrible team are either gone or are bench players now. My fear is also that KP is going to make the 3 year leap and Hernangomez will be a ton better with more minutes in his 2nd year.
Watch us be in the playoff hunt by December and Melo stays. Then we get sweeped in the 1st round he leaves and the tank rules go into effect next year. Ugh. The life of a knick fan.
"I'm afraid our young players are actually gonna be good"
Wow
So, if KP/Willy/THJ/Frank (who are all between 19 and 25) are good enough to lead us to the playoffs, that's a bad thing?
You'd rather stunt the development of the players we do have to have a chance to get someone who might end up being good rather than let our guys grow naturally?
Like, I'm all on board for a top 5 pick, but if we miss out on one and end up top 10 cause our young players are better than expected, that's a good outcome too
