1) Beggars cant be choosers. Ugly ball, smart ball, yall will take any type of wins you can get
2) This league is run by shoot first 'Get mine' point guards. The audacity to say you dont wanrt to win with DSJR. Pft.
The days of cutting and backdooring, and 'playing the right way' your way into wins are long gone broseph
Championships won where the best player on the team was a shoot first "get mine" point guard

For a league "run by" these guys, they don't have the best record, huh?
Even the top teams today, the only one whose best player is a shoot first pg is Boston. Cleveland, GS, San Antonio, and Houston all either have better players than their PG, or don't have a shoot first PG.
Oh no, no no. We're not gonna do that.
I said the league is RUN BY shoot first PG's. Meaning your team is less likely to succeed if you aint got one. Meanign the majoity of teams have one starting. I did not say that player had to be THE best player.
So 2017 GS-get mine PG. If your PG averages 26/27 he is 'getting his'. Dont let the effortlessness of HOW he gets his points distract us from the fact that he is still a shoot first, get mine PG
Cavs Kyrie-get mine.
The MVP Russ- Get mine.
2nd best team in the east last year? Boston. Isiah Thomas? Get mine. 3rd best? Raps. Kyle Lowery? Get mine. Even John Wall, a quasi 'throwback' PG is his team's leading scorer w/ 23 a game. 23 a game would have lead all PGs back in the day. Now its no higher than 5th i'd guess.
ALL THOSE GUYS WIN THEIR CLUB 50+ GAMES. Even Dame Lillard is taking an under-talented squad to .500. Get mine PG.
So yea lets not play like we dont see whats goin on. And to bring it all back to the original point, DSJR is far more like those guys above than...
Frank Ntilikina.
Oh but enjoy him tho i hear he cuts really well off the ball!

Come on, man, at least learn how to spell their names right
Last year's playoffs
GSW - shoot first pg, 1st seed, championship
SAS - not shoot first, 2nd seed, conf. finals loss
HOU - not shoot first pg, 3rd seed, 2nd round loss
LAC - not shoot first pg, 4th seed, 1st round loss
UTA - not shot first pg, 5th seed, 2nd round loss
OKC - shoot first pg, 6th seed, first round loss
MEM - not shoot first pg, 7th seed, first round loss
POR - shoot first pg, 8th seed, first round loss
So that's 3/8 get mine PGs, with only one even making it out of the first round (and only 1 of the top 5 teams had a shoot first)
BOS - shoot first, 1 seed, conf. finals loss
CLE - shoot first, 2 seed, finals loss
TOR - shoot first, 3 seed, 2nd round loss
WAS - shoot first*, 4 seed, 2nd round loss
ATL - not shoot first, 5 seed, 1st round loss
MIL - not shoot first, 6 seed, 1st round loss
IND - not shoot first, 7 seed, 1st round loss
CHI - not shoot first, 8 seed, 1st round loss
3.5/8, all making it out of the first round
In all, only 7 teams had shoot first PGs (Washington is arguable, making it 6 to me). For a league "run by" shoot first PGs, that's pretty bad
And 7 of the 15 non playoff teams had shoot first PGs. So your claim of teams having a shoot first PG are more likely to succeed than teams that don't is just not true
Talent, teamwork, and defense win championships. Doesn't matter which position you get scoring from.
