I found this logic flawed.
You are comparing a player that was a SF in his youth that became a PF later, to a PF that will become a .....
The NBA is filled with stories of players moving up, 1 to a 2, 2 to a 3, 3 to a 4, 4 to a 5 ; there are far less stories of players moving down. What Center became a PF; What SG became a PG? etc.
Gordon proved to me last year he is a PF. And late in his career, if anything, he would become a C. Not that a 6' 9" he is the same height as Dwight Howard and Bismack Biyombo (no I do not think Gordon will ever become a PF, but threads here have pondered the question).
