McDonough has historically traded for picks with salary fillers but with 78 games still to go I think he might be targetting a young PG as more of a player swap.
We have gotten plenty of picks and they are doing nothing for us. No more!
If I'm the Suns, I stand firm in taking on a legit young player.
Nuggets - Jamal Murray/Faried for Bledsoe/2018 Miami 1st
Knicks - Frank Ntickle/Noah for Bledsoe
Bucks - Brogdon/Parker/Henson/Delly for Bledsoe/Chandler/Chriss/ 2018 pick swap (with Miami's pick, Bucks get the better of the two). I don't even care that we take on bad contracts, the Suns are getting anyone in free agency anyway. Best bet is to get young players that can't leave like Jabari. Giving up Chriss sucks but it gives the Bucks a sense of relief of giving up two young players for Bledsoe. They likely get a better pick with the Miami pick too. Greek freak is going to need some help, and Bledsoe is definitely a huge upgrade.
Bledsoe vs the top East teams last year:
Boston: 28 points, 9 assist, 6 boards, 45% FG (1 game)
Cleveland: 26.5 points, 8.5 assist, 4 boards, 3 steals 50% FG (2 games)
Washington: 29.5 points, 5.5 assist, 6 boards, 1 block, 44% FG (2 games
Raptors: 31 points, 11.5 assist, 5.5 boards, 1 block, 1.5 steals (2 games)Those are the best teams in the East, and he's putting up very elite stats, despite playing with a bunch of scrubs. He brings it against playoff teams.
