But it wasn't.
Irving got an all-star PG in IT, Crowder, and a Nets pick that was more valuable than any pick last year.
Irving got more than just about any all-star in the last 10 years in a trade.
You do know the Nets are the 7th seed in the east right? So, the 16th pick this year is more valuable than any pick in 2017?....... I mean, I have no words.
I know that, and I also know it's a long season an their starting lineup is:
Deangelo Russel
Levert
Demare Carrol
RHJ
Mozgov
That will contend for the least talented starting lineup the NBA has seen in years. Not a single player is even close to all-star level. Let's wait and see how they do this year.
I also know they won't end up in the playoffs this year, but i'm making a point. They won't be a bottom 5 team this year. And the 2017 draft was stacked with talent out to 9-10 ish. The top 5 in 18 aren't all better than Tatum. I'd say Nets pick in that 6-11 range.
