Man the Clippers look brutal. I wonder if some players are going to be on the move soon...

We were the ones who put them on a decline after their hot start last year two. They were like 13-2 or some crap and fell after we beat them lol

Cavs just lost to the Hawks, who are my pick for least talented team in the NBA. The Hawks only played 9 players including the following:
Starters
Taurean Prince
Luke Babbit
Dewayne Dedmon
Kent Bazemore
Dennis Schroder
Bench
John Collins
Marco Bellenelli
Isiah Taylor
Tyler Cavanaugh

I'm guessing even most hard core NBA guys don't know who half these players are.

Derrick Rose is a bad player. Kevin Love is playing poorly. JR Smith can't shoot right now. Wade finally did something today, but has struggled finding a role. Crowder doesn't seem to want to touch the ball with LeBron around. Korver is shooting well but got old and can't guard anyone. In fact, most of their roster can't guard anyone, and the few that can aren't playing well offensively.

Basically, unless LeBron carries everyone (v Knicks, for example), they suck. It's pretty hilarious.

They need TT back for energy, and IT back for non-LeBron shot creation. Even when they return, this team might be cooked to the point that just making the playoffs and trying to make a run with the vets once they're there is the real goal. We can realistically win more games than the Cavs, so avoiding them in the first round is important.

Yeah Beverly is a pitbull no doubt about it.

Harris has been a monster this year for sure but there are a few guys around the league I would move him for without blinking and if the Clip are gonna blow things up this year Harris+picks+prospects is a very tempting offer as his contract is nice indeed. Dream, but Blake next to Drummond would be nutty.

Every time I see Harden going off I remember when I used to read Langlois's mailbag, I read once that he said something like Detroit would never trade Monroe for Harden.

Yeah, and they could have drafted Giannis rather than KCP. I’m assuming this was when Monroe was our young starting center? I don’t recall this myself, but ‘hindsight is 20/20.’ We’re all idiots by that standard.

Yeah I actually think it was at the beginning of Knight's rookie year, and it was just a response to some dude's mailbag question. I dunno, I definitely would have traded Moose for Harden at that time. I never thought all that highly of him though.

Baynes with 21 and 8 for Boston, they needed him without Al Horford and he did amazing. KCP on the other hand was very inneficient, I watched most of the 4th quarter and he was bad and seems frustrated. Iso Morris had some great moments as well.

Boston played without Horford and Hayward and Tatum barelly played and they're still a great team, I was impressed with Theis and Baynes

Baynes is a good player really good off the bench idk why so many disliked him.

Guys like Baynes are always underappreciated though.

Yeah he'll have the occasional nice boxscore but 99% of the time a metric **** tonne of people wouldn't have a clue what he's praised for.

1 - that's really sad

2 - it's the nature of the beast unfortunately

It's not even casual fans v hardcore fans either - I guess it comes down to how you envision how the game should be played

The Celtics were soft at the big man spots last year. Baynes (and Theis too) have given them a toughness and defensive power that they lacked with Amir Johnson, Olynyk, and Zeller. It's really changed the team, much in the way Bradley has injected his infectious energy into the Pistons.

Baynes has also made Horford better by freeing him up to roam wider on D, and not having to cover the league's giants.

(Morris also looks like he'll help, though he's just getting started after missing the pre and early season.)

Clippers lose again. That's 4 losses in a row. If they continue to free fall, Griffin gets disgruntled, and they want to blow it up I would love to make an offer for him. Harris/Ellenson/Marjanovic/2 first rounders for Griffin. Throw in Kennard if need be.

Jackson/Smith
Bradley/Galloway
Johnson/Bullock
Griffin/Tolliver
Drummond/Moreland

That's the best team in the East
