It surprises me as well because I think he was actually very good at drawing fouls and hitting shots this way. He made quite a few and 1's this way in College.
I would have liked to have seen how it translated to the NBA first rather than the Sixers try and fix something that I didn't think was broken in the first place.
I think that this is a good example of something that he could get away with in college, but won’t be able to in the nba. He has to finish with the correct hand to be able to be an efficient finisher.

Maybe/Maybe not. There are a lot of things Ben did in College that people said would never translate to the NBA and he seems to be proving them wrong.
We may never know now... but I was adamant it was an advantage and made him harder to defend because the natural momentum of defender in mid air takes them to his left hand when guarding him moving to the left I wish I could find the article/audio/video where Ben said the same thing). His ability to stop whilst driving and in mid air twist and switch to shoot with his right hand made it virtually impossible for defenders to block.
I'm more than happy to be proven wrong with footage but I can't remember a single time in High school or College where he took that cross body shot... where anyone get anywhere near blocking it.
