I'm a man of my word. I'm the type of person that likes to flex when I'm right about something, so it's only right that I have to be the one to eat my L's.
Ultimately, I was mildly disappointed by THJ's first season back in New York. During that 25 game stretch, he looked like exactly the player I was hoping we signed.
The dependent variable that I left out was that Hornasuck isn't Budenholzer. Jeff simply didn't use THJ correctly and didn't hold him accountable with his shot selection or defense.
Something I want to study in the off-season will have to do with his success rate when attacking the rim. In my eyes, he was a much stronger player when focusing on attacking. I don't believe it's the albatross contract that fans continue to make it seem like, but it still didn't meet expectations this season.
