i am confused by your definition of "dominant". paul george carried the pacers every year in the playoffs.... and even pushed lebron to 7 games. he was a franchise player for them.
I have a shorter list but you're right that George has been clutch and really good. I don't think Boston's goal is to push anybody. They want to win. Tatum is going to be a major piece of that but I don't think his ceiling is that high. It may not be as high as George's. Just my 2 cents.
If you're saying Tatum could be the best player on a really good team, with other guys surrounding him who are really good, I agree. I don't think you're going far putting schlock around Tatum and building around him as if he's a top 5 player. I don't think he's going to be a top 5 player. I don't see the ceiling there.
