NOOOOO!!!! Don't go there...you will be admonished and berated to no end on here...I already tried that reasoning.
1) Kyrie is shoot first PG, thus, does not make us better.
2) Kyrie is too old (even though Bledsoe is 27 and 2 years older, so figure that out), and doesn't fit our #Timeline. No team should even try; GS can't be beaten.
3) Kyrie is self-centered and no better than Bledsoe this year (????...yeah, I don;t know, just go with it, man...)
4) " 'X Poster' just does not like Kyrie." (But a 1st Rd pick not likely to materialize for 2.5 years is better than Kyrie
...and my favorite of them all...
5) "The Suns weren't in Kyrie's list of teams, and he wouldn't commit to the Suns after his 2 years were up! How dare he!?!?" (ummm...okay...)
So you see, everything worked out better. We have a Center we don't want, a 2nd Rd pick not likely to materialize, and a 1st Rd pick that we'll see in 2020 that will likely be in the 20s. Definitely worth WAY more than Kyrie...
...but oh wait, we have to add JJ in the trade for Kyrie, because that's what Cleveland wanted, and got from Boston; their 2017 1st Rd pick, Jason Tatum...oh wait, no they didn't, did they...they got a 2018 Lottery pick instead. We couldn't have offered them that because we have only two 2018 picks, ours and a Top 7 protected Heat pick.
Anyway, these are all the things that were thrown at me when I mentioned it 2 weeks ago, but since you are a Lakers fan, you'll likely receive better treatment than I did when I brought it up.
