I find it hard to pinpoint why are offense is so terrible, but his kinda shows something I've been feeling for a long time: It doesn't look all 5 guys are on the same page. It doesn't look like everybody is working towards a common goal on offense. We don't do A in order to do B so we can do C. We have no real flow offensively safe for when we can run after turnovers.
If I remember correctly, Donovan has talked about the offense 'reading what the defense gives them' multiple times. Sometimes it looks like that's our only strategy. And once that fails, we're reverting to the 'GIve me the ball, I'll get us some points' approach.
There has to be at least some kind of underlying strategy.
The thing of it is, if someone on the periphery of basketball like Miky Berra can spot these issues, you have to assume Donovan and his staff does as well. Yet the issues persist. Why is that? That question is pretty damning of his abilities to lead this team.
