He's young and the season is still young. We should rest him at some point.
To some extent, Ben and Biid needs a lot of experience to make up for lost time
Im actually more concerned with Biid. There was one point that I have him being limited during reg season and let him play major mins at playoffs.
From a physical standpoint Embiid was impressive tonight because he was clearly under the weather and sluggish, but he powered through it. I think his fitness is really rounding into form now.

I actually am concerned with him playing not 100%. If you play tired or weak energy, sometimes things like landing and positioning gets compromised.
I thought that chase down attempt on Simmons was a close example. It was a tired guy instinctly trying to make the right play. Sometimes when you're weak or tired, you move unconsciously. A little off in timing and that can translate into an injury or suspension.
Its like doing deadlifts when you are sick. You may be able to lift lighter weights but your form can be compromised that can lead into injuries. I dont know if it makes sense to u
Thats why I was saying how I wouldnt want any alley oop plays for Biid against Magic.
I agree that it is a risk to play when sick, but it was still impressive.
Hopefully he spends all day today in bed and is feeling better tomorrow.
