Lebron and Simmons 2 slashing forwards who need the ball in their hands. Can imagine Embiid loving playing the Bosh/Love role
I just can't see Lebron going to Philadelphia or joining a team that doesn't have proven all-stars. I also can't see him wanting to be a sidekick to a young guy like Simmons. Not to mention joining a team that embraced losing is kind of off putting for one of the greatest of all time.
My best guess is he'll stay in Cleveland if their Nets draft pick turns out to be a top 3 pick, otherwise he'll join up with guys like Paul George and/or Demarcus Cousins in LA.

Simmons isn't close to being good enough to make Lebron his sidekick. Maybe in a few years if Lebron finally starts to noticeably decline. I think going to Philly would be an awesome move. Simmons/Redick/Covington/Lebron/Embiid would be an insane lineup next season if Simmons/Embiid stay healthy and continue their progression. That has the potential to be on par with Golden State. It would make him the savior of another franchise and give him one of the best shots at winning more titles now and into the future when he declines and Philadelphia's young players take the next step. The fit with Lebron/Simmons isn't perfect, but Simmons being a point guard means Lebron could let him do most of the hard work making plays while he plays more off ball as a PF. I dont know if its realistic at all, but its what I hope he does. I agree that he'll probably stay in Cleveland if they can find a way to improve their roster.

It's hard to find a comp for him that really makes me excited. I never understood the Beal comp. Beal has a much stronger frame. Monk is a toothpick. I don't see how he really competes with starters at SG, which makes he value a PG or combo.
Mitchell has the body and athleticism to make it at SG and the quickness and handles to function as a PG. His ceiling just seems so much higher.
Prove me wrong Monk, just like Kemba and Lamb (finally) have done.

I think Monk's ceiling is Latrell Sprewell

Those two players aren't even remotely similar other than the fact that think they're both from Alabama

I see them both as chuckers who are able to slash to the rim with speed, streaky shooters, and lanky. Sprewell has some height and reach advantage, but Monk is only 19 so he could possibly grow some more.
