I just can't see Lebron going to Philadelphia or joining a team that doesn't have proven all-stars. I also can't see him wanting to be a sidekick to a young guy like Simmons. Not to mention joining a team that embraced losing is kind of off putting for one of the greatest of all time.

My best guess is he'll stay in Cleveland if their Nets draft pick turns out to be a top 3 pick, otherwise he'll join up with guys like Paul George and/or Demarcus Cousins in LA.

Simmons isn't close to being good enough to make Lebron his sidekick. Maybe in a few years if Lebron finally starts to noticeably decline. I think going to Philly would be an awesome move. Simmons/Redick/Covington/Lebron/Embiid would be an insane lineup next season if Simmons/Embiid stay healthy and continue their progression. That has the potential to be on par with Golden State. It would make him the savior of another franchise and give him one of the best shots at winning more titles now and into the future when he declines and Philadelphia's young players take the next step. The fit with Lebron/Simmons isn't perfect, but Simmons being a point guard means Lebron could let him do most of the hard work making plays while he plays more off ball as a PF. I dont know if its realistic at all, but its what I hope he does. I agree that he'll probably stay in Cleveland if they can find a way to improve their roster.

Donovan Mitchell looks pretty damn good so far.

Mitchell is shooting below 40% for the season, but he looks pretty good still. Like Dion Waiters who isn't dumb.

If im LeBron and i want to leave Cleveland, the only team im going to is the 76ers.

No way im going West, stick to the weaker east.

Oh yes, it would be a brutal lineup if he went to Philly. But, could Lebron really associate himself with a tanking organization that is pretty much known for "the process." The NBA seemed to not like the tanking, so I don't think Lebron, as the face of the NBA, would support it either.

True, but he's been getting better with his efficiency. 44% over past 10 games. Plus his form looks really good. He will figure it out. All the other aspects of the game he's been really solid. I love his upside. He'd definitely go over Monk in a re-draft done today. I'd swap monk for him in a nano-second.

I still prefer Monk over Mitchell. It’s unfair to judge Monk based on a shooting slump to start the season while playing out of the position we drafted him to play followed by Clifford benching him for the ineptitude of MCW. Monk showed consistency and efficiency throughout the preseason and then hit a snag to start the season. I’m sure he would’ve bounced back and responded well after about 10 games or so.

I never knew what to do with Mitchell, think I'm not like shocked that he's doing well but also wouldn't have been shocked if he totally tanked. Good for him.

I'm glad you guys are still high on Monk. I know he's been put in a bad spot and he'll improve, especially as he gets stronger. I'm just not sure how to view his ceiling. It's hard to find a comp for him that really makes me excited. I never understood the Beal comp. Beal has a much stronger frame. Monk is a toothpick. I don't see how he really competes with starters at SG, which makes he value a PG or combo.

Mitchell has the body and athleticism to make it at SG and the quickness and handles to function as a PG. His ceiling just seems so much higher.

Prove me wrong Monk, just like Kemba and Lamb (finally) have done.

I think Monk's ceiling is Latrell Sprewell

Those two players aren't even remotely similar other than the fact that think they're both from Alabama

I see them both as chuckers who are able to slash to the rim with speed, streaky shooters, and lanky. Sprewell has some height and reach advantage, but Monk is only 19 so he could possibly grow some more.

Sprewell was drafted as a defensive specialist and liked to dunk on people. His chucking ended up being a bonus

Donovan Mitchell, lol. I like Monk, but I'd rather we draft Mitchell than him.

Chicago Ben Gordon with better intangibles and slightly better athleticism (less strength, more speed/hops, and more dynamic).

Mitchell with 41 tonight. 6 3s. It's not even a discussion at this point. Maybe in 5 years monk will catch him. Doubt it. Mitchell is a stud. His jumper is beautiful.
