I think Bryan Colangelo's thoughts are along those lines also. That's why we aren't going to see him for awhile.

People are just frustrated that another top draft pick is hurt, and they're childishly taking it out on the guy who is hurt. No one's to blame, **** happens.

bro, that's not even close to what's going on... every indication has been there is no severe injury, just a muscular imbalance. It's been a long time and dude is still not even shooting
there's back and forth on him changing his shot, not changing his shot, worried about the new 3 point line, hurt because of the change, changed because of the pain..
its a joke, there's no other way to put it.. whatever the truth is, this whole thing is a joke

Muscular imbalance is painful, dude. Not sure what else to tell you. You've never dealt with it, so you're speaking out of ignorance.

It's pretty naive to do so at this point no? Even if you hope and pray all you want that he legit has a muscle imbalance this bad to be out this long... deep down you know that is BS, and if it is true, then this just sheds poorly yet again on the FO for having him play originally
I literally just posted a few points showing my skepticism, but I'm not calling our player's mental toughness into question. I'm just saying your post feels like when Lonzo is on the verge of an empty triple double tomorrow and the Lakers are up five in the fourth, a similar impulsive, hot take will come from you.
what? are you trying to insinuate im a lonzo fan?

Nope, insinuating that the second something goes wrong for the Sixers, you blow the issue out of proportion.

welcome aboard bro, might as well hop on now before the seats get crowded cuz you already know that's exactly what the **** they are about to do

For Colangelo, one of the blessings of this "injury", is that it gives the team the ability to shield Fultz from questions from the media. As long as he's "injured" and not practicing, he's not available to the media for constant questions about struggles, when this supposedly happened, or if he's still sore in any way. The message can be controlled thru policy and generally the less hardcore fans don't care, because they have Simmons and Embiid to distract them.

I am completely on board with being pissed at management, because they are adults and paid lots of money to make smart and/or logical decisions.
I don't quite get why we are condemning Fultz? It seems like he's the one who hid the seriousness of the injury, radically changed his form to Shaq's so he could even throw a ball at a hoop despite whatever pain he is in, and stubbornly played in real NBA games despite being severely limited and looking like an embarrassment before the adults (agent, coaches, management, whomever) pulled the plug and forced him to see a specialist.
If anything, it seems like Fultz is either stupid or naive... but a mental midget who is scared? I really don't see it.

Are you willing to consider the possibility he wouldn't be struggling if he wasn't even injured?

No. Even if I thought he was a great prospect, he'd still be struggling because he's a 19 year old PG with average athleticism.

Eh, he'd be operating more as a shooting guard hopefully making the open 3s that TLC is bricking.
