The way these guys are playing, you’d almost think the Bulls FO team were above average at evaluating talent...

You really wanna ruin the bulls future huh? Low key wouldnt even want to trade miro for that offer. They better throw in 3-4 1sts too, and I am 100% serious.
Edit: actually. Maybe I would do that trade. Those two would help stop this winning streak. Bulls need to keep losing and those two would help in that regard, tremendously.

I hate to be that guy, but if the Bulls don't make a trade in the next week, GarPax really need to go. Can't build a winner, and can't build a loser. Just superb at building medocricy.

Niko and Portis were both out to start the year, Dunn clearly is progressing, and LaVine is back soon.
Sure you can, unless you think the Bulls are going to keep facing struggling teams or teams without their star players at home.
I'm glad that the Bulls have strung together some wins, because it's a positive for development and you're not going to lose every single game. The young players look more confident, which is a huge plus. But, I don't see this continuing. Next 6:
@Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Orlando, @Cleveland, @Boston, @Milwaukee
If they go 4-2 or better during that stretch, maybe I'll think differently about it.

Nwaba +15
Would like to see his +/- total since he's come back. Such a keeper

We have the 3rd longest winning streak in the NBA, behind Houston and the Warriors.

even if niko keeps this up for the next month, i dunno how anyone who has watched three years of nikola mirotic could say "yeah, he's definitely figured it out this time"
let someone else try to pull the pin on that grenade if they believe in him.

Niko and Robin on this team for another month and we aren't gonna be a bottom 3 or probably even bottom 5 team.
We are going to lose games this month, most likely the very next game . We aren't going to continue streaking if that's what you're afraid of.
We're not going to be a bottom 5 team, that's all I said.
And I'm saying it's way too early to make that type of prediction. All it takes is trading one or two pieces and it's quick downward spiral.
The bottom 5 teams last season had 20, 24, 26, 28 and 29 wins. And right now we are at 7 wins. Take out Niko, Robin, Bobby or anything combination of players, you take way any depth and the losses start piling up again.
My stance is, you can panic and trade players of value to secure a bottom 3 record, with no assurance you'll get a top 2 pick depending on the odds, or you can be smart, build some of the value of the players you intend to trade, perhaps get an additional first round pick in this upcoming draft or future picks, while also giving yourself enough time to steer the team back to tank and get a top pick. Because say we do only get the no.3 pick with a bottom 3 record, if we have that additional pick we can move, the possibilities are there to make something happen come draft time.
Putting your eggs all in one basket is a silly thing to do. Even when Hinkie was tanking, he was smart and tried to get as many assets from deals as he could, we need to do the same, simply losing games isn't a smart move.
Why so serious?

For those who choose to keep Portis over Niko, did you guys see Portis missing point blank layup and open lane dunk because he can't jump higher? This is why I can never take Portis seriously as a must keep player.

Plenty of basketball games to lose we still in December if this was say mid January through February then there is a concern.
I think you guys are missing the point to the reason why we have been winning or losing to begin with.
When we started the season we had No Niko, No Portis, No Lavine, No Dunn then went a 12 game stretch of No Nwaba.
Thats going to make you lose a ton of games.
The difference between us and teams like Atlanta, Dallas etc, is that we are getting healthier and actually improving our play. Those 5 names I mentioned 4 of them back, are pushing guys like Felicio, Pondexter, Zipser, whomever bench guy into very limited or non existent roles. Which obviously makes our team much better.
Like I said before, this team hardly looks like worst team overall but rather more like the Knicks, Lakers, Hornets etc Still lottery team, but in the 7-12 variety. People have blinders on if they cant see that.
We have been playing very well for 2 weeks now.

Maybe they wanted this. I feel we will get into Miami heat situation from last year and then year after underperform....

Yeah I actually enjoy winning. Especially the joy.

Sacramento had Isiah Thomas and Boogie Cousins and fired their coach one year when the team was .500 with Boogie injured.
Look at how many games the 2007 Celtics lost, and how many games the 2002 Cavs lost. The Bulls certainly didn’t win a lot of games in 83.
Where are all the people who were sad we were losing games earlier and said we’d be guaranteed to have the worst record in the league?
That said, if Niko’s play means we can get a first round pick for him and then we start losing again, I’m okay with that.
We need to get more than just ANY first if he keeps playing like this. Mid to late lottery type first.

I think people forget that having the worst record does not equal no.1 pick.
