Pain is the last to present itself and the first to go away with these types of injuries. If the pain doesn't return after these 3 weeks then I'm sure he'll be back practicing with the team getting ready to play.

lmao so you are ok with after 3 weeks of more no pain, THEN they can start having him practice for multiple more weeks before the next progression?

lmao plz tell me you are joking

remember, this isnt a torn rotator cuff, this isnt a ligament issue.. this is a **** muscle soreness issue

That's where the "reevaluate" comment gets me. So he's pain free, in three weeks upon still being pain free (hopefully), where will they go from there? Does he need another month to build his cardio back up? I'm just not sure of what the process entails.

Hinkie cursed this franchise, it’s as simple as that.

Seriously though has this ever happened, a teams lottery pick misses significant time with injuries 5 years straight? 4 out of 5 to start seasons?

I just think it's lame for people to tell others when they should be playing. I've always considered telling other guys how hurt they should or shouldn't be against the bro code. We sometimes take for granted these guys are human beings and not gladiators and don't look at them as actual people. He's 19 years old. Give it time.

Btw, the Sixers are pretty much in a lose-lose here, because if he did come back sooner and re-aggravate the thing, the Sixers would get ripped for being horrible dealing with injuries again.

After all these years we still haven’t had a core group of guys play together, this was finally gonna be that year, and it’s not, again. So while Fultz gets integrated into the lineup later this year, we’ll hopefully have a healthy team to see how good they are and then pray Embiid can play 60 games plus playoffs next year.

I know, I know, PG13 or Lebron really want to come here, hahahahahahahaha.

Just what Lebron needs, comes here in his mid 30’s, cuts himself shaving, gets a staff infection and the Sixers have his head amputated, but don’t worry folks, he’ll be on load management.

somehow, you have the longest leash on fultz, but the shortest on BB. fultz could be out for the season because of muscle imbalance and you still would come up with that weak ass bitch argument, "if hes not ready, hes not ready". let me guess, you loved the fultz-trade, amirite?

yall naive af, if you believe anything without a **** of grain of salt whatever this snaky organization announces..

every article i read about muscle imbalance, it was told you can continue with your regular practice. somehow, fultz is such a special prospect, this doesnt take effect for fultz. you could think a basketball player, whos main job is it, to shoot a basketball, would actually shoot a basketball. but no. either he doesnt, or he wont do it at the practice facility, where the dumb proletariat aka the fans, could see him. we all just wanna know whats going on, but we are left in dark once again, after all those prior examples in the past.

Isaiah Thomas is “nearly ready for 5 on 5”. Is Fultz already playing 5 v 5? Or will they announce at the three week mark that he’s beginning 5 on 5 in practice?

They drafted a "shooter" over a bunch of "non-shooters", and now they have to re-teach the "shooter" how to shoot. It won't look good if they put the "shooter" out on the court and he can't make any shots.

It doesn't make them look very smart for trading two lottery picks to a division rival/contender to get a guy who looks terrible. They have to make sure that either he doesn't look terrible or the team is playing so well that people don't care. I guarantee you he's not coming back until the team is playing very well. He's not hurt.

If some actual news on Fultz comes out, I hope a new thread will be started with that news instead of hidden in this trash bin of a thread.

Noone has time to read all this garbage, and if I see news, I'm starting a new thread. I don't even read this thread anymore, just scan through to see any news.

I recommend others do the same, it will be alot less time consuming and headache causing.

Sifting through pages of posts in a thread on a message board doesn't seem like an efficient way to get news, in the first place. You'd be better served just following beat writers on social media. This is a discussion thread on a player. Not an update blog on the player.

Perhaps, but I hate social media. Its also garbage, can you recommend somewhere else I can get real news?

BTW why can't we have an update blog here?

The rumor/news feed on HoopsHype is pretty reliable.

Thanks, other message boards just have a thread for all tweet updates everyday on that particular team, all labelled for that particular date.

You can find everything about that team on that day, in like 8 mins, and you don't have to go through all the garbage. Just saying lol.

Isaiah Thomas and Jabari Parker have both been recently assigned to G-league affiliates for rehab assignments. Practicing 5-5 settings.

Theres videos of Parker dunking, dribbling, shooting and practicing 5-5.
LaVine is in the same boat.

I don't know what the extent of Fultz's activities are right now, but if the dudes going to be coming back by the end of the month, you'd expect to be seeing stuff pop up here and there. Especially from the marketing hacks w/ the Sixers to possibly build buzz and sell tickets. Ive seen nothing but him doing lunges with dumbbells.

Think about it. Simmons was out all of last year, they strung us along all season long. But even then , there were even videos from the Sixers popping up of ANY type of basketball activity he would do. Same with JoJo.

Im becoming more and more concerned with this situation. Its literally bizarre and something only the Sixers would have happen. Our front office has done a miserable job of communicating it to the public, leaving tons of room for speculations and gray area.

From outsiders perspective the Sixers are just red shirting another rookie. From ours, we just wanna know wtf is going on.

Assuming it hasn’t been reported than he’s been cleared for 5 on 5 practices, that should be next, then maybe a short stint in the G league and then back to the Sixers.

How do teams decide the G league rehab? Is it just for guys coming back during the season? Or is it likely Fultz will come straight back to the Sixers?

This whole thing reeked of a psychological issue from the very beginning. Now it's outright undeniable.

You're doing social media wrong. Twitter and follow only people who report news.

Rarely do they actually play in the G league....they usually simply go and practice in a 5-5 setting with them and allow you to gauge there progress.

So we’re problably looking at a minimum of two weeks before a return to the court? Especially if he isn’t really practicing with the team yet.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
