You typically don't even know how good a player is going to be until their 3rd year or so, it makes even less sense to judge a trade until everyone knows who has what, and we don't even know what the Celtics will get out of the pick we traded. We will likely keep the Lakers pick in 2018, and they'll likely get the pick in 2019. Knowing Ainge and his disastrous drafting track record, he'll draft another bust and that extra pick will amount to nothing.
Last 4 drafts- Tatum, Brown, Rozier at 16, Smart. Not bad at all
