For Anthony Davis? Sure. For Cousins? No.
Who's our PG? We'd be NO East. Plus Davis seems to be oft injured.

I think Favors deserves to be on a good team as he is a great player but unfortunately for him Gobert is a defensive beast and is the center of our team so Favors is too good to be a backup. We have tried to use Favors as a PF but he is so much more dominant at the C position; both offensively and defensively.
I'm thinking a trade centered around Favors and Burks/Hood for Beal or Porter. Favors would have to agree to an extension as part of the trade.
Thoughts?
Not interested. The Wizards already have too many big men who can't find playing time. We don't need another. I think Favors has some potential to break out if he got to play full time center, but I wouldn't pay a price as if he has already done so.

Agreed. If you want Beal or Otto, then Mitchell is the main piece.
Mitchell and Favors for Beal would be the core of the trade.. with players like JJ and Smith/Kieff as the filler.

I think he will develop into a very good NBA center. He can move far better than most other centers, and once he figures out where to be, he will be able to get easy shots and put-backs, not to mention rebounds. He is 21 yo and has a lot of upside, IMO. Given that we have two centers on the other side of 30 yo, it would be good if we could get a center with some promise.

I’d like to have him. But who would we trade to get him?

Personally, I think he's going to be very good - rookie PG's almost always have problems - look at the other rookie PG's picked high in the last draft. How's this sound: Ball, Nance Jr and Brewer (expiring) for Wall? Nance is a reserve for the Lakers and has looked somewhat disinterested the last few times I've seen him. I get the feeling they don't consider him a major part of their future. And Wall going to LA would add a ton of excitement there. I think they'd still have cap room this offseason to go after George. Is it a win/win?
Be greedy and ask for a draft pick.
It's not a bad idea.
I prefer Julius Randle to Larry Nance Jr. Randle is only 23 years old, a couple of years younger. Randall has shown that he is a little bit more versatile, has more range, and is a little bit better shot blocker.

It wouldn't be less than Oubre or Porter for sure.

Or instead of a pick, how about Hart? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1656155
LAL's already traded their 2018 1st rounder, so the best we could get would be their 2020 1st (The Stepien rule prevents them from trading their 2019 pick until after the 2018 draft.).

I don't know, I guess that would depend on what you wanted in return.
What did you want in return?

I would be down for Lonzo, Nance, and Hart.
I would have to have the approval of John Wall to see if he would even want to play at a place like L.A.
It seems he and Paul George could conceivably both be Lakers next season. That might appeal to him. It could be a tremendously good career move for him as well. It would be great for basketball, perhaps. However, I would only make this kind of deal if trading Wall imminently was feasible.
This whole concept of trading Wall seems to me to be only feasible if Wall wants out, OR, if some team's GM makes an offer that is too good for the Wizards to refuse.

Dark Faze wrote:Nance can start in this league but he would require a stretch 5. He's got not game outside of 3 feet, but he's a good defender and plays extremely hard. That's part of why they got Lopez there at the 5--that works alright.
Lonzo/Brad/Porter/Nance/Gortat might be able to keep up with our current mediocre win totals eventually, but they'd be easy to plan for in a playoff series

Why would the Bulls do that? Even if you view them as equal in terms of talent, its a lateral move with their age, contracts, etc.
The only trade im looking to make would be to send Smith, CMC and a 2nd to a team in a salary dump. Im also curious about a PG needy team sending us a 2nd for Frazier in case we need an additional asset to send along with Smith.
Thoughts / Ideas?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
