It was nice to see how much love Philly showed Okafor after the game. It wasn't like a courtesy dap. It was hugs and smiles all around. They were really chopping it up. Okafor seems strangely popular around the league with players
The lack of Booker respect was one thing. the fact that a Ben Simmons reverse dunk got the loudest pop of the night once again
shows why I really never want to go to Barclays center again. The Nets don't have a homecourt. none.
I hate to say it but I don't ever really see Brooklyn becoming a basketball hub, unless they draft a true superstar player. Casual fans don't care much for the Nets and just want to see which stars show up to town. Just a sucky reality.
It's not just Brooklyn. Many big cities are like this. The masses want a star, and they want a winner. When the Nets are a perennial playoff team in 3 years, we can say that we were present at the creation.
