Would TJ accept a demotion when he's putting up 20 a night (and on a winning team, might start getting all-star consideration down the line)? If Booker-Jackson-Warren-Chriss-[Center] works, that might be the most elegant solution. Sure was nice to have a size advantage at both guard spots last night (though we'll have to see how we do when we're not defending a bad team shooting "lights on").
Then again, great teams usually have great sixth men, and TJ would be hands down the league's best, in my view. But if you do that, you better be winning. A lot.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if the Suns had Ayton atop their board, due to upside and fit. I still have Young there, but I rarely maintain a favorite consistently throughout the draft process (notable exception - TJ Warren in 2014). Wouldn't surprise me at all if we love Bagley, too.
I also want Warren and Jackson both starting. But could Suns go [PG]-Booker-Jakcson-Warren-[Center]? I'm not sure if Chriss will develop into starter on a good team. And we would still need center anyway, ideally one who can shoot. But if we could get Doncic and play 4 players all 6'6-6'8? That would be interesting. Not sure if it would work with Young. That team would really lack size and may need to start more traditional PF.
