This is a critical piece of information, and because it doesn't fit your template, you're going to just ignore it? LOL

Nate, buddy, you're not good at this.

Nunes uses very specific wording. Here's what the memo actually said:

"no surveillance warrant would have been sought from the FISC without the Steele dossier information."

The Steele dossier information. Interesting, that appendage isn't it? I wonder why they wouldn't just say 'Steele dossier' there? Maybe it's because the information has been corroborated, and there are other additional sources dictating the FISA warrant application.

Nunes is being intentionally misleading here, and you're falling for it.

That's a heck of a leap to be making based on a questionable semantic interpretation. If the information was independent verified, then it would no longer be Steele dossier information. It would be "information".

Yes Nunes is not above lying. Many Republicans admitted that they haven’t even read the memo before it’s release and neither did Trump. Simple question that only requires a simple answer. Is the Steele dossier the only piece of information used to get the FISA warrant?

No. That's not the question. The question is, could a warrant have been obtained without relying on the Steele dossier as a source.

The dossier is not the only part of the FISA application for Carter Page. The rest of it wasn't released! That's why Nunes refers to it as 'an essential part' and not 'the only part' of the application.

And, again, the dossier has largely been corroborated, and very little of it has turned out to be incorrect.

You were tricked here because you're extremely biased and want things one way.

You have to believe that Nunes is blatantly lying about something that is sure to be verified sooner or later to believe that the FISA report didn't depend on the Dossier.

And please, illuminate me. What has been "largely corroborated" about the Dossier? Is there any corroboration of Trump's golden showers with Russian prostitutes? Is there any proof of multimillion dollar bribes? Do you really believe that Russia started a relationship with Trump in freaking 2011 because they predicted that he would one day run for President? Donald Trump, the reality show host, a President? LOL.

But I have been bringing this up for almost 10 months. They laughed at it then. And now continue to laugh at it eventhough, at this point, Congress has now put their name on it. This is significant. Congress' name is now on this memo/evidence. Our lawmakers, indeed the very body that writes our federal laws, put their name on this evidence.

Congress also has oversight of the entire executive branch has scolded the FBI in this particular memo/evidence. Congress is FORCED to act now. The american people will demand it. There will be severe consequences.

- Since it is an extension, Page was already under surveillance prior to the items depicted in the memo since 2013
- It has been reported that Page was under FISA surveillance prior to Steele reporting his findings to the FBI and the dossier being written
- Page was already on radar of the law enforcement about being a Russian asset for a couple years
- Trump brought Page, a man that our government believed to be a Russian asset, into his campaign

Even Nunes admits in the memo that the Steele dossier isn’t the only source or even the main source behind the memo. Your whole argument and that of Trump sychopants relies on the fact that the FISA application was built around the Steele dossier. The FBI has been tracking Carter Page since 2013, they have him on tape speaking to Russian spies who have since been arrested.

agree, but im only going to take so much personal attacks before i go back at 'em. And I dont mind playing dirty if that's what they want. This place is suppose to be fun and we should be entertaining each other. So long as they're insults are funny its all good in that regard. But like i said, i will go back at them from time to time.

But really they just want to distract from the contents of the memo. We know this.

Correction. "Congress" has not put it's name on the memo and the info in it. A handful of members of Congress, all of them Republicans, have "put their name" on this memo. So don't get it twisted.

There are even some Repubs who are opposed to the memo, it's release and the way it cherry picks information to discredit the FBI and the Russian investigation. In fairness, shouldn't we wait until the release of the Dems response to the Nunes' memo (assuming that is allowed to happen) before we take this partisan memo as the gospel?

Ok. So in the interest of getting this on the record: The SOLE source of the FISA warrant was the Steele dossier?

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

OMG, you have to listened to C-Span or conservative talk radio? The people who call/comment are brainwashed zombies who know very little about the underlying facts. Trump and his backers understand this very well, “the base” is lapping this up without knowing what they are eating.

I find it hard to believe since the investigation has been going since 2013 and require 90 day extensions. The Steele dossier only came in 2016.

it is looking more and more like this is the case. and quoting Mccabe, (under oath) "without the "dossier, there would be no FISA warrant"

also, nothing in this memo damages our national security. So why were Comey, Wren, All democrats, et al. pushing that false narrative for the past week???? Why prevent the release of the memo??? And hide behind national security???
